So I wrote this some time ago, and I’ve been wanting to share this for a while... Here we go!
I think that you just need to hear this sometimes..
It's not about being the better person, a good person or a bad person. It doesn't matter if you are good or bad. It's about being the stronger person. The person who does what they have to do when they have to do it, however they have to do it; and they'll do it through the pain and suffering.
They'll do it because it doesn't matter what happened, because no matter what, something will always happen, something will always keep the board from being wiped clean. There is no such thing as starting over, there is only acceptance, and moving on; working through it.
I’m not saying bottle it up, and try to forget. Sometimes you need to put yourself in the other persons shoes to maybe see why this person did what they did or said what they did. It hurts like hell when someone does something to you whether it’s intentional or not; maybe they just don’t realize what they’re doing is wrong.
Be messy and complicated and afraid and show up anyways.

Hmm so. I feel like an asshole for this but I am in desperate need of help. I hesitated for days before making the post. I wouldn’t ask if I had any other options (and I’ve considered some terrible ones, tbqh) but I don’t. This is not the first time I’ve had to ask for help here, I’ll be honest because I’ve got nothing to hide but I hope it’ll be the last. Please don’t send me hate over this. Just keep scrolling if it bothers you.
Anyway I’ll try to keep it short. My car just broke down. It’ll cost upwards of $400 to get fixed. Without my car, I won’t be able to get to work. (Anyone who reads my posts knows that I’m basically the family’s free Uber) If I lose my job, I’ll lose my apartment. I won’t be able to eat, etc.
I’ve had to miss a lot of work lately for being ill, as well as the fall I took down some stairs, causing me to miss out on wages. For the past year I’ve had to help my sick father with his bills. We’re waiting on his disability to process. In the meantime he’s got stage four cancer and still tries to work. I have to cover what he can’t and frankly I’m no longer able.
My mother has also missed lots of work for the trouble with her heart and blood pressure. She’s having a heart cath to check blockage/disease this week. I’m also having to try and help her financially.
That wasn’t very short but I’m having a horrible time. I won’t go into detail about my own mental and physical illnesses, but please know that I wouldn’t ask if I could still handle this. I’m always helping others, whenever I can, I just need a little help myself this time. If you have even a dollar to spare for me, I’ll be forever grateful.
