The difference between crossdressing and being trans

Everyone confuses the two which is understandable but don't assume that because someone cross dresses that makes them trans. Which is completely false and not the actual truth. Someone who is trans is either going from a man to a women or from a women to a man. Being a crossdresser doesn't mean you are changing your sex you are still a man at the end of the day. People need to stop assuming that crossdressing and being trans are both the same they are not. I feel sorry for anyone who gets the two confused and doesn't do their research on the differences between the two. Why do people automatically assume cause your a crossdresser that automatically makes you trans it doesn't. People need to stop assuming and actually learn the difference between the two. Do you assume if someone is a crossdresser that makes them trans?
