Doomed siblings have me on a chokehold in a way no trope can ever achieve. Something so gut wrenchingly beautiful about two kids going through unimaginable trauma and coming out damaged forever. I always eat it up. Maybe they stay together and find solace only in each other, used and kicked out by society! Maybe they end up on opposite sides of the war! Maybe they end up betraying one another! Maybe one of them dies haunting the narrative forever! Maybe one of them destroys the world for the other! So many endless tragic possibilities!

a sigh is repressed when zandik inevitably begins to part, untangling their limbs and climbing off of him. he mumbles something about a shower and feofan hums his assent, watching as dottore collects his clothes from the floor of pantalone's bedroom. when the doctor is clean, it will not be here that he returns to. in place of a goodbye, feofan grabs his wrist and tugs him close, giving him a kiss that lingers, the kind of kiss that will never exist without the context of an unmade bed, nails digging into his arm just to keep it distant, keep it easy, hungry.

he only pulls away when breathing becomes shallow, when zandik begins to squirm. pantalone doesn't look at him, instead busying himself with the task of finding wherever he had thrown his glasses as dottore turns towards the door once more. ❝ oh, dottore — don't forget, pierro has another meeting for us tomorrow. i heard it's something about your little trip to mondstadt, so you ought to be in attendance. ❞

so, the hound has teeth — good, lohen was hoping that was the case. he grins, slick and easy, up at the thing that awaits him, just as hungry as him. the stretch of his splayed thigh aches, aches good, shoved into place by a hand more satisfying than his own. it intoxicates just as well as any drink, cuts him down as quick, the feeling of a leash held tight, the control inherent in his offering. kostyantyn did not take, lohen gave — of that he is sure.

his breath comes out in ragged, raspy pants, thighs flexing hard against restraints as similarly cuffed hands claw at the back of zandik's head — half pushing him away, half pressing him down further. he's been kept on a precipice for so long, not yet allowed the relief of the fall, the crash, and now he's so close, teetering more and more precariously off the edge.

the teasing heat of zandik's mouth leaves him and feofan groans in frustration at the loss, only to have the sound cut off with a sharp gasp as it's replaced by the firm grip of zandik's hand. it's as tender as it is unforgiving, zandik's form shifting above him to sit astride his bound thighs, keeping feofan in place beneath him, unoccupied hand pressed hard to his chest, control held completely. ❝ zandik... ❞ his name is a plea in itself, violet eyes meeting crimson in a low - lidded gaze, his hips bucking as much as they are able under such strict restraint. the doctor acquiesces, graciously, feofan's hands clamping around zandik's wrist where it braces against him, nails digging in harsh as release finally comes...

and does not stop. zandik wrenches his arm away, a rough scratch dragging down his wrist from the desperation of feofan's grasp. his hand joins where its opposite is enveloped around him, thumb rubbing hard and cruel against the head of his swollen cock. feofan thrashes to no avail, head thrown back, at zandik's whim — as always, as unwilling as he so typically is to admit it.

❝ zand — ah! st... sto — fuck... ❞ every word is stuttered, cut short by the next as he fights through the sick mix of pain and pleasure, that which always seemed to be a particular specialty of theirs. he cranes his head to attempt to look at his torturer, his vision blurred with what he doesn't even register as tears until he feels them roll down his cheek. he gives in, body limp against the bed, save for the endless, involuntary shift and twitch of his hips beneath zandik's hand, every movement a violent jolt done utterly against his will.

touch at least ceases and feofan collapses, form sinking into the bed below him. he can feel zandik's gentle caress beneath the haze, vaguely registering something akin to praise whispered above him as the weight of his body disappears. a warm, damp cloth slides against his still - shaking thigh and he would tease zandik for his fixation on cleanliness if he had the ability to do so, if he weren't still held down in the aftershocks.

strength begins to regain as his wrists are unbound and all he can think to do is to wrap his arm tight around zandik's waist, pulling him down for a kiss softer, more real than either of them are accustomed to. he parts, forehead pressed to zandik's. feofan doesn't have to say it aloud to be sure zandik can feel the gratitude, the closeness he saves just for him.

harbinger meetings run too long. all the droning talk of mission and purpose becomes monotonous and dull, especially for one so established within zapolyarny's walls as pantalone. of course, he had his own goals, his own place within the fatui's schemes, but, on the whole, his work tended to be much more clerical than the others', much less subject to such dramatics — at least at his own hands. one must make their own entertainment in such cases and, so, he does.

as the meeting drags on, pantalone's hand wanders, his typical smile unchanging as a gloved hand snakes beneath dottore's coat. he caresses soft against the small of his back in a gesture that could even be seen as tender to the outside observer, should one dare to observe. as all touch between them, it does not exist without intention. fingers pry at his shirt, untucking the fabric from his trousers and dipping beneath, knuckles brushing against zandik's bare back. his smile widens just slightly at the imperceptible shiver, felt more than seen.

touch continues, but does not escalate, determined to frustrate, to tease, until the meeting finally comes to a close and his hand slips away before any other harbingers turn towards their place in the doorway. they are, of course, the first to leave, pantalone feigning nonchalance as he wordlessly heads for dottore's study, with the man himself close behind.

the door shuts behind them and zandik's hand is around his neck, urging him against the wall, all accusation through shallow breath. feofan opens his mouth to profess an innocence they both know to be utterly nonexistent before zandik's unoccupied hand slides between his legs, quick to palm hard against where feofan's guilt is most noticeable. his voice low in feofan's ear dizzies. couldn't even wait for the meeting to be over? tsk... you've been wanting this, haven't you? he responds in kind, even as his head willingly falls back against the wall, arms languid atop dottore's shoulders.

❝ hah... and yet — you made no move to stop me. ❞ he yanks at the hair at the nape of dottore's neck, pulling him in for something more akin to bite than kiss. his other hand begins to wander once more, fingertips dragging across the pulse point of his neck before it slides down his torso, eventually coming to cover zandik's own where it presses against his clothed length. he traps his hand there for just a moment before knocking it away, hastily undoing his trousers before he's grabbing at zandik's wrist and commanding his touch upon him once more.

he pulls at zandik's hair, urging him away from his lips to allow feofan to bend down to his neck, fighting briefly against the grip on his own before he relents, though the touch still lingers. teeth graze his throat, lips moving against tan skin as he speaks, hips canting up into his hand. ❝ you know what i want. you wouldn't disappoint me, would you, zandik? ❞
