In honor of pride let’s talk about some lgbt anime characters. I’ll try and post on this reblog chain as much as I can this month!! No promises for a daily update though cuz I’m kinda stressed. Let’s get into it...!!!

Starting with Grelle Sutcliff from Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler)!! I don’t want gender debates on Grelle but from what I can tell she’s a trans woman, canonically AMAB and refers to herself using female pronouns/calls herself a ‘self proclaimed woman’, She also mentions wanting a sex change and is clearly uncomfortable when people call her a man. She is a grim reaper and Jack the Ripper, Good for her. Trans women deserve a little bit of murder.

She’s also very cute and her teeth are cool. Big fan!!!! I love women's wrongs.

Bingo! You got that right! I'll try to explain as much as I can since this is a heavy work in progress thing-

It's an important aspect of her story, and possibly one of the major reasons why her mother insisted on enrolling her in NRC

Her mom was considered to be one of the most important healers of their parts of the Shaftlands. She had high expectations for Sephira, hoping that one day she'd also take this position and continue her mother's duties.

But of course, Seph didn't really want this kind of future. She had other aspirations, and this position would basically restrict her entire life to their little village. nonetheless, she followed her mom's wishes anyway. She tried really hard developing her unique magic and other necessary skills that would be needed for this role.

The training and classes Seph had to go through were vigorous and intense. She couldn't do the things she loved, as her entire day was filled with duties and tasks. It was living hell for her. She couldn't have fun anymore, there was no time for fun in this life. Not only that, but constantly being told that she wasn't good enough despite her efforts took a toll on her mental health.

One day she just couldn't take it anymore and... all hell just broke loose.

The result was her strawberry blonde hair turning into the color of death, and their land turning into a barren wasteland...

(I promise to elaborate more on the future, I'm currently writing a mini comic about this so stay tuned! 😊)
