Adding onto the 'Donnie has epilepsy after the technodrome' thing (possibly using this post as a note board for a fanfic)

I get functional seizures from FND, so I don't personally know what it's like to have tonic clonic or any of the ones that are epileptic, so this is research from other people on Reddit who do have epilepsy

- I have this idea written down in my upcoming 2012/2018 crossover where Donnie programed his vambrace to alert him when he's going to seize (like a service dog would) while sending an alert to his family too BUT he also programmed it to make it easier for others to monitor, (Yellow is before and after a seizure, orange is during, and red means that he needs emergency help) It automatically times it and has his vitals that will also send to his brothers com units/ phones

- The above post remembered that he couldn't drive anymore (although there is the rule that someone can drive 6 months to a year seizure free) and someone else added to that about anything really dangerous like soldering, I'd say his flight shell wouldn't be allowed either.

- Other not allowed things : Working in high places, power tools, working near a fire/oven alone

- Things that would piss him off: no longer being able to drink an excessive amount of coffee, having to eat on a schedule and keep his blood sugar up, having to actually get sleep, having to ask for help with things that used to be easy

- Based on the info Tony gave us a few weeks ago about how Raph is most protective of Donnie, I feel like he'd become overbearing the first time Donnie gets injured during a seizure

- I also feel like the whole family would walk on eggshells when they realize stress triggers them

-I don't know what to think about swimming, my headcanon is that he can spend at least a day or two underwater with Draxums mutation, so drowning wouldn't happen

-More angry outbursts and feeling useless

Holy fuck I know he's suffering. I have epileptic seizures and absent. I have an absent one like every 30 minutes but they only last a few seconds and I have a full grand mal seizure once every month ( haven't had one since March, knock on wood.)

For me after I have a seizure I feel like complete shit and I'm out for the rest of the day. It takes me a minute to get back, my speech is slurring after, I can't move very well and someone has to help me. I have THE WORST headache, like someone is splicing my head in two types of headache. And I'm extremely nauseous. I mostly end up sleeping the rest of the day cause it takes a lot out of me. Like full body reset as I call it.

The driving one is important because is some places it is 6 months but in others it's like.. 2 years... (I know that's how it is where I'm at).

When it comes to driving it really varies from where you are and where you live.

I am all for this head cannon btw. It seems so interesting to me. He's so relatable and this just makes it more so.

All it had was a black box at the top and all the color on that slide was gone. I actually wanted to cry. But now the goofy are done.

Don’t try to guilt people by saying “I’m sorry I fucking suck.” “I’m sorry I’m just the worst and I should die” Because thats not an apology, thats trying to guilt the other person into dropping the subject.

Yup.  That’s called Weaponized Remorse.  Basically, you’re avoiding accountability by blowing up a big Feelings Bomb at the person you hurt and going “let’s not focus on what I did or what I should do to make amends, let’s focus on how awful I feel about it all, and how you should make me feel better.”

It’s really easy to accidentally learn to apologize like this, especially when you have mental health issues that mean you genuinely feel that way about yourself. You aren’t a bad person if this has become a habit, but you can help other people AND yourself by apologizing differently!

Try to focus on your actions rather than your traits:

E.g. “I’m sorry I keep ghosting you, I’m shit at friendships” –> “I’m sorry I keep ghosting you, I’m really struggling to keep up with my friends right now”

Then, if you can, turn the conversation back to the other person - you’re apologising because their feelings matter to you, so show that.

E.g. “I don’t mean to - our friendship means a lit to me, and I know it must make it seem like I don’t care.”

This gives the other person an opportunity to express their own experience so you can talk it over more if they want to, without skipping ahead to reassuring you that the relationship isn’t broken.

If you read the descriptions above and started feeling guilty, it’s fixable! And if you want, you can even apply your new apology skills to apologising for an old apology style

This is something abusers can instill in their victims, also. Sometimes an abuser wont let up until they know you feel awful, shitty, stupid, worthless. and it becomes a habit to tell someone “im sorry im such a fucking loser i dont deserve etc, etc” so they know that you have paid the emotional toll for what you said or did.

Here’s the kicker, though- normal people dont want you to beat yourself up like that when you apologize. I know it feels like the line between “im sorry, I screwed up and I feel terrible about how I hurt you” and “i’m such a worthless piece of shit, you dont deserve to be around me” seems nearly invisible, but if someone requires you to verbally self-flagellate in order for a fight to be over, you really need to step back and take a look at the relationship between you two.

a tip if you want motion blurr to be more effective instead of putting them everywhere without a sense of direction put the motion lines from where the motion starts. This below is just six frames and I slowed it down to 6 fps

Remember that actions moves in a curve so it moves like this -> ((

An other way is to use few action lines and make a smear frame where you use fewer frames it gives a more goofy or cartoony look (smear frames are my favorite XD things) kinda like this below.
