no one tells you how fuckin weird it is to try to get back to normal after a crisis. like my mom had a stroke last week, dad let her sit like that for four days before taking her to a hospital, my mom’s entire side of the family exploded, i’m speed running getting disowned because i won’t defend him (because why tf would i?????) and i’m just. supposed to go back to work. like nothing happened. my mother had a stroke last week but this is supposed to be a regular work week.
