...the blue in my thread is being eaten away as scarlet flows through my skin and is being bathed in it. All that's left do now is to run; run till it breaks, run till I save the sea.

I've always had this longing to touch the sea, to let her breathe through my fingers or, maybe the other way around. I wanted to save the sea like she calls me, to be saved. She sings to me like people sing to their saviour. And I run. To save her. To save myself. And I scream, in agony. My legs hurt. They'll fall apart any minute now. My heart hurts, like it's ripping apart as I approach the sea, like it's made to pump blood into it, like a shark does by tearing apart a human. Today, I choose to be scarlet who never touched the ground. To wear a brighter shade of red every time blood gushes out, everytime they cut open a stitch. I need roars out of my lungs but all I have been able to do is let out a sigh or just smile: like the blue of the sky. "Blue," they said, "is the colour of the sky. The sea just reflects it."

The red strings of the moon are pulled as the waves crash my shore. It controls the waves like the voices of my head. The mirror I look into pricks my skin. I could see no sun in those eyes anymore. No sense of belonging. Just like my nomadic thoughts. The north star is no more visible, or possibly there are three of them and my compass is broken. One leads me into the sea, the other along the coastline and the other back home... The sea wants to touch the horizon it's braided and seen with, like I want to touch the happiness I'm written with. Exploring actual haunted houses, with the full gear equipped.

Cemetery hopping.

Painting the walls with your bag of spray cans, in the narrow alleyways and where people won’t see you guys having a blast. (They call it graffiti, you call it art.)

Going to a thrift shop and buying clothes for each other (set a budget), going off on what you think their style would be, and only revealing what you bought to your date when you’ve purchased the articles of clothing and are out of the shop. Do a bit of a fashion show for each other!

Exploring abandoned properties together. (Beware: no trespassing if you want to up the thrill of it.)

Go to IKEA and pretend you guys are an actual couple; start an argument with each other over those tables that are put there for decoration. Or… Make it more tame. Pretend you’re shopping for your dream home, together. 

Going to a rage room together to fuck shit up and relieve some stress.

Ghost tours!

Sneaking into the movies without paying. On top of that, sneak in snacks from your local supermarket chain instead of paying for the ones at the cinemas/theatres. Tip: Don’t get caught.
