OK BUT THE FACT THE WRITERS ARE DOING THIS KNOWING THAT JASON GRACE EXISTS. Thalia SCREAMING that she will not be a weapon WHILE Jason is being ACTIVELY groomed into being a living weapon. Him being raised by wolves and raised by the army and his only purpose being Jupiter’s weapon while Thalia is doing everything in her power to get away from that?? How she ABSOLUTELY sees Jason in Annabeth and she’ll probably see him in Percy and she’s going to think about how they’re the same age and they’re so young and she wants to protect them the way she COULDN’T protect her baby brother and she’s right but in the WRONG WAY. What is she going to DO when she sees him and in the last fourteen years nobody paid enough attention to notice that he needs glasses. What is HE going to think when he hears her story and what their father did to her and what could’ve happened to him if he stepped out of line and how he fought for the father that did this. WHAT IS SHE GOING TO DO WHEN TOA HAPPENS. It’s been 10+ years since I last read “The Lost Hero” and “you tried to eat a stapler when you were two” is still seared in my brain forever. Holy shit the things they can do with this backstory change I am TOO SEATED

Do you ever think about the fact that maybe Jason isn't boring and he just dealt with his truama differently by being more quiet and reserved. Do you ever think about the fact that despite saying he wants to be considered part of both camps everyone in the fandom depicts him in a Camp Jupiter shirt and never a CHB shirt so he will always truly be a roman.
