Peek at a hand drawn animation I’m working on! Background is next, then the addition of some cool effects (the part I’ve been eager to start over the past 50+ hours of drawing 😮💨)
Process of making my piece “Ritual.”
“Ritual” - Ink, gouache, gold leaf, Posca paint pen, acrylic on watercolor paper. 14x11in.
I made prints of a few of my newer drawings and also restocked some of my most popular ones! Sizes range by piece from 8x8in, 8x10in and 9x12in. For now, everything is still on my Etsy shop, but eventually my store will be migrating to my website.
it doesn’t have to be good it just has to be done
I built a website! www.goldcoyoteart.com
It was a ton of work and I’m so happy to have a much higher quality online portfolio now. I’m planning on migrating my store off of Etsy and onto here eventually- stay tuned.
Another summer come and gone
Clay, wire, acrylic, fabric, buttons, blue jay feather, petrified wood.
5.5 x 11 inches
While I understand the desire to make Big Art entirely and viscerally I think it's worth considering that small art often leaves an outsized impact on its audience. Short stories, teensy indie games, short films, sketches on scrap paper, carved or sculpted figures that would fit in the palm of your hand, etc. etc. are all things that, when they hit your psyche at just the right angle, can stay lodged in there forever specifically because they are small. It is not necessary for a thing to be sprawling for it to have impact.
“The Self Is The Soulmate” Ink and gouache on paper, 8x10in.
New holographic and metallic stickers are now in my shop! The Cerberus head has holographic eyes and tongues, the borzoi has a highly metallic mirror effect, and the melting dog is a metallic gradient of purple to gold (previously I released this one with a glitter effect). All 3 are made from original ink drawings of mine.

Gallery-grade prints of these pieces and a few others have been restocked in my store!
Practice sheet using gold leaf and my current work in progress it will be applied to. I’ll be adding the leaf at the end, so wish me luck to not mess up and ruin all the ink work I’m about to do!
Process of making prints of my illustrated poem booklet / zine
Prints of my mini booklet/zine illustrating a Rainer Maria Rilke poem are now available on my Etsy! I cut, bone score and saddle staple each of these by hand.
