Kimmieâs eyes lit up as she saw the color of the room and the dollhouse. Â It anything made the two adults that were with her a distance memory. Lyric walked in when he saw the dollhouse then looked at Chase, âYou know she isnât going to want to leave this space. Â Thank you so much, and if that isnât the spitting image of where we are going. Â Just know once we get settled you know you have an open invitation.â
âThank you Uncle Chase.â Kimmie smiled, as she went back to the brightly painted structure.
Lyric then continued, âI told my Uncle Iâd take care of any repairs that needed to be done, but you know how it is. Â But how have things been going around here with you?â
Chase bit his lip gently as he watched dark curls bounce around in the bedroom while Kimmie explored the interior of her dollhouse. âUh... â he mumbled before the light bulb seemed to come on. âI forgot I still have your present too!âÂ
With a smirk, both at the gift and the fact that heâd avoided the question. Leading him down the hall, they came to a pastel green room. On the dresser in this one, there was a kit with home cleansing crystals and sage. âYou might have some of this already, but I uh....â God, people on angel radio were being loud today. He had to wonder where the natural disaster was this time. He could at least glean that it was something about a monsoon. âI thought you might want to cleanse the new place when you get there.â
@messyhairandromanticeyes
John grinned to Lyric as he leaned in the doorframe of his apartment. He was sure he'd heard the rumble of the impala in the street below a few minutes prior. "Hey handsome. You miss me?" {Do it back to goldeneyedmessengerofgod. I'm having technical difficulties with the other blog}
âYou are a sight for sore eyes-â He began then winked, âcocky bastard.â
This was how they coexisted, and he was happy to see John. Â Not like he would admit it right off that bat, it was more fun that way. Â Besides Lyric had a good idea about how John felt about him as well. Â Not that they were overly lovey-dovey or anything like that they were strangely comfortable and that was something he did enjoy about this.
âAnd to what do I owe the pleasure?â
@goldeneyedmessengerofgod
âWhat? I canât come visit my pretty little boyfriend without the third degree? â He teased before stepping into the room, letting the door fall closed behind him. Reaching out, he pulled the other closer to kiss him. He let out a chuckle... if Lyric had known what heâd been doing while he was out on the road for his hunt, he wouldnât want him in his house, he was sure. Hell, heâd probably call the looney bin. âSorry I was gone so long.â

Continued from here:
âSome enchanting so those that are fighting sleep will become close friends with it.â Lyric said as he gestured to Alchemy who was looking around at the vast array of things in the shop even from her height, âIâm thinking we left it in Barcelona over the Summer. Â At least someone there is getting a good nightâs rest.â
While they followed the guy around the shop Lyric took the unique cross-section of items that were stocked here. Â Normally you see some items but never others especially under the same roof; that made this unique find somewhere to return to even in not so dire circumstances.
âI havenât been back in town long, but I am seriously digging your shop. Â How long have you been here?â he inquired.
Pointing out the array of rose quartz he had, he stepped back from the shelf, leaning gently on the one behind him so that the other could take a look. âIâve only been open about six months,â he replied, his deep eyes going to the little girl who seemed enthralled with several shelves of live flowers. âI bought this shop after the previous owner passed. It used to just be a head shop, but it works for this too.â
A smile spread over his lips as the little girl picked up a few violets that their stems had been woven into a strand. Kneeling, he reached out gently. âCan I see that for a moment? Iâll give it right back, I promise,â he breathed. Once she handed it to him a bit warily, he tied the ends of the strand together before he reached out, placing it gingerly around her little neck. âYou have quite the eye for flowers. I think this one suits you well. Violets are lovely on you, and they represent both happiness, and what can only be described as loving watchfulness.â
He really did think it fit her well. He could feel her vigilance, even at such a young age. She had a sixth sense that most adults wouldnât have. He could easily slip into her mind, though he was careful not to disturb her thoughts. He didnât want to frighten her. Just merely to understand. She didnât have the fears of most young children. Her fear didnât contain spiders, or ghosts, or boogeymen. She feared losing a part of herself. She wanted to maintain control of her young soul. His eyes went to the doorway theyâd entered through and he let out a hum as he got to his feet. âShe can keep those,â he offered, looking to the blonde. âAs they start to die, you can press them in the pages of a book. They wonât lose their power,â he assured. âIâm Jason by the way.â
@messyhairandromanticeyes
Everything seemed to happen in a few chaotic moments. Â The hound was shadowing another that was desperately trying to find a way out of the predicament theyâd put themselves in, attempting to run from a Hellhound was futile. Â He was about to deal the death blow when-
Movement from behind caught his attention, and the unmistakable sound of flesh being torn.
Gage recognized Jason but the fact that he was holding a still beating heart in his hand took him slightly off guard as did his words.
âI donât understand, whereâd you come from and what do you mean? Â Thank you if this was some sort of ambush but you shouldnât put yourself in any danger either.â He said briefly turning from Jason to his mark that lay on the ground close to death but not close enough.
âJust die already.â he said giving the personâs head a hard yet smoldering stomp-well they were dead now.
He knew Jason enjoyed this type of stuff but to watch his back or came to his aide was more than appreciated. Â The one Jason had laid waste do was unrecognizable, so it was clear more happened than just in those few moments when everything began.
âIf these assholes start sending people to shadow them or jobs just got a lot more difficult.â
Red eyes that were a result of his bloodline watched as the debtorâs brain was made exterior. More blood..... he was used to it by now.Â
Looking down at the body, then back to Gage, he shook his head. The windows to his soul turning back to a smoldering, dark brown as he let the heart fall from his fingers with a sickening squish.
âThat wasnât someone sent to watch after him. That was someone using that asshole as a distraction for you. His soul.... rather, that soul, wasnât at home in this vessel. Itâs been dormant, abandoned... dead, whatever you wanna call it, for years. I could feel it. It wasnât afraid of anything but you... rather, your kind. It didnât know any more fear.â
He didnât know what to think of it. âThereâs an influx of this kind of thing. Souls who arenât demons, but arenât people anymore. I donât get it. Thereâs been more and more bad just seeping into the streets of this plane... they have to be coming from somewhere, but damned if I know where. I just... I felt it coming for you. I donât know how.... I just knew.âÂ
In truth, he too had been following Gage, but he sure as hell would never admit to it.Â

Deep brown orbs, the color of old oak in front of a crackling fire slipped into crimson as black veins made their way through pale skin, showing that he was more monster than man in that moment.
Jason's gaze met the other's as blood dripped from his hands, his clothes smeared in the metallic life force that he seemed to be drenched in.
His victim lay at his feet, their heart still warm in his palm.
"He had it coming .. " he breathed, his chest heaving and voice stern, almost too calm.
"No one comes after you. No one."
@et-elegit-mortem
Jason's eyes turned to the door when the bell above it gave away that someone had stepped into his shop. More like two someone's. A little one, and what looked to be her father. A small smile curled at his lips as he waved to the little mess of curls. "Good morning," he called, as the tall blonde eyed the shelves warily. "Can I help you?" {{goldeneyedmessengerofgod}}
This was one of the newer shops in New Orleans Lyric had discovered since his return. Â And it he couldnât have been more grateful to see it today. Â Kimmie had gone into yet another period of complete sleep refusal, and unfortunately, there wasnât enough lavender in his Uncle Cyâs garden or Valerian in his own t get her to at least sleep through the night. Â And an unfortunately with all their moving around heâd misplaced a few crystals that might get his daughter sleeping again.
Holding Alchemyâs hand, they went to explore the shop which was always fun for both of them. Â But with her being a âsleep defectorâ this was probably going to get interesting. When he heard, the greeting he turned around, âMorning! Yes, as a matter of fact, a lifesaver right now for me would be if you could tell me where your crystals are. Â And if you have Rose Quartz, you should be canonized.â He smiled.
@goldeneyedmessengerofgod
The halflingâs brows rose a bit at the last statement, finding it rather humorous that someone would be wishing death to him so late in the day, though he knew that wasnât the otherâs intent. It was his cynical sense of humor kicking in where it wasnât wanted, and so he kept his thoughts to himself. âOf course. I have several variations actually. I have it in pure, unpolished crystal, polished, or charms made of it,â He replied, leading them to the proper shelf. âMay I ask what you intend to do with it?â He could sense an aura of subtle, earthy power around them both, and since he was talking about Rose Quartz, he was more than sure there was no ill intent toward anyone, but he was certainly curious.

âI am so glad you didnât mind putting us up for a couple of days. Â I mean for us going home never means making a straight line from point A to point B.â Lyric said Kimmie went to hug Chaseâs leg as they came in while holding her stuffed stuff horse with the other hand.
As he let them inside Lyric shook his head slightly, âMan you have done enough to let us crash with you on such short notice like this.â
Heading inside and motioning for them to follow, he offered a broad, slightly crooked smile. âItâs really not a big deal man. Come on, Iâll show you the guest rooms, and your presents. I say we go to Kimmieâs room first, since sheâs a little lady and they always come first, what do you say sweetie?â He grinned, leading them down the hall to a pastel purple painted room. The furniture was white and the comforter was a deeper shade of purple. On the dresser was a tall dollhouse, painted light blue and white. âI remembered you telling me you were moving into a dollhouse, so I wanted one that you could play with too.â

Florescent lights blinked overhead as Chase waited in the hall for Gage to pass. Minutes felt like months as his inside fluttered with the news he had. Heâd been working on this in secret for months, and finally, heâd cracked the code. He had a way to help his grandfather, and there was no way in hell he was going to pass it up. The lights buzzed, humming gently above their heads, casting a sickly white glow over everything it touched. Finally, after what felt like forever, he saw a mop of golden curls coming toward him, washed out in the white emittence and for the first time in a long time he felt giddy.Â
As the other approached, he reached out into the crowd, grabbing Gageâs arm. Before his friend was even fully aware of what was happening, Chase was pulling him into a janitorâs closet. The door closed quickly and quietly behind him, and Chase pressed a hand over his friendâs mouth.Â
âItâs me! Itâs just me,â he assured, pushing a few flyaway strands of his dyed green hair out of his eyes. âDonât freak out. I just needed you in here and I needed to do it as quickly as possible so we didnât get noticed.â
As he spoke, he unzipped his bag, pulling out a pile of papers that all had multiple questions and answers crossed out and the reanswered until things fell just as he needed them to.Â
âI did it! I found a way to beat the fucking system and I can help my grandad, but I.... Gage, I need help. I canât do this by myself....â He was talking so fast he hadnât even really realized he hadnât fully explained himself yet so he backtracked. âI found a way to get us topside. I found a way to get us to the fucking surface.â
He of course knew the risk that was involved if they were caught cheating, and he knew this was an insane suicide mission.... but he hated to admit, he was terrified of acting alone.Â

Unlikely Perspective || closed rp
It had been about a week since Azerith had gotten the news that his he wasnât simply created, heâd been born. Â And his origins were even more distressing, heâd been born from a divine source of love, Eros. Â This was something that heâd stayed away from his usual circle because he knew Luxuria was trying to be there for him. Â But that was his brother and he would attempt to quell the rift between them. Â If Azerith knew one thing he knew the lengths Luxuria would go to for Alexander. Â
Hell, he remembered the last go Lucifer had at him when he wouldnât reject him. Â Some of the tortures actually seemed like he was going to end his Uncle, but he stood firm regardless of what was thrown at him. Even once he returned and was recovering he never ever blamed his brother for the what heâd been put through. Â In some twisted sense, it gave Lust an even larger streak of unpredictability and recklessness than he had before. Â So much so he took out more than few just to say, âIâm still here,â even carving that phrase into some of the corpses piling them up at his fatherâs door.
If that was loyalty, true loyalty why couldnât he sit down and have a simple conversation with Alexander? His Uncle, Lust as weird as that was to say now, never steered him wrong.  Why couldnât he draw from that trust and closeness now?  The part that was the most fucked up was that it felt strange not to seek his counsel in this.  But he couldnât because of what heâd witnessed that Lucifer had done to him and hisâŠFather.
That went down like a glass of holy water. Â It wouldnât kill him but it was unpleasant.
There was only one thing left to do was take this very unusual step for needed a bit of unconventional advice.
âI know youâve been watching this shit show. Â I need some advice from someone else that doesnât play by the rules.â Â Azerith paused, âRumor has it that weâre related.â
Hmmmph, nothing what a bustâŠ
@goldeneyedmessengerofgod
Of course heâd been watching. Gabriel was never far from the mess that he called a family, even when they didnât know it. Stepping from his place between planes, the archangel crossed his arms, a lollipop stick peeking from his barely parted lips until he reached up and plucked it from his mouth so he could speak. âSome nerve, introducing yourself to family youâve never met by barging into their house. I assume you must have found my whereabouts from Lust. Thatâs fine, but donât go spreading the word around. Most people donât know Iâm still a contender in this big old game of fuck up and I prefer it that way.â
With a snap of his fingers the lollipop vanished and he motioned for Azerith to take a seat across from him. âWe are though. Related I mean. I think with your dad being who he is, that would make me your great uncle.â
Willing two glasses into existence he raised a brow at Azerith as fruit champagne appeared in one. âWhatâs your poison? I think you might need something to take the edge off this conversation, and I would hate to stick ya with something that you didnât like.â
When he answered, the contents appeared in the glass only a moment later and he handed it over. âI can see why you wouldnât want to talk to your uncle about this. I mean, I love that doodlebug and all, but heâs a bit biased. He has your best interest in mind too though. That much I can assure you of.â
Taking a sip of his champagne, he leaned back, appraising the other. The apple certainly didnât fall far from the metaphorical tree. âWhat is you think I can tell you?â
@fuckdeep-killslowÂ
Ha-Ha!
An exasperated sigh fell from Michaelâs lips as the cake was placed before him by one of the sins. Why Lust insisted on calling him uncle, he would never understand.
âI have no children. The boy is dead to me and will be when I get my hands on him. I was pulled into a womanâs sin, but my faith assures me my sin is forgiven of me.â
âThatâs not what Iâve heard.â The Sin said licking the excess frosting from his finger in a sing-song tone, âI heard heâs a strapping, fine specimen of a man. Â Certain your Father would say, âwell done, good and faithful servantâ.â
Honestly, this was one of the more amusing visits heâd had with the Archangel. But given the fact that he was always so Holier than thou this was a little funny. Surely, he had to see some shred of humor in this. Â Then again, Lust mustâve forgotten who he was talking to. Perhaps now heâd loosen the fuck up a little.
Upon hearing the rest of the statement while placing his hand to his ear and cupping it, âI know the name of that song itâs called, âThe Blame Gameâ. Seriously womanâs sin?  I have been a woman from time to time and trust me the whole burden canât be laid at her feet.  Admit it, youâve got some strong Holy Swimmers, rejoice.â
@goldeneyedmessengerofgod
If the sin was nothing else, he was, above all, annoying as hell. Michaelâs face gave him away and depicted just that. âI think youâre overstepping your bounds, or did your beloved uncle Gabriel forget to teach you where those lie?â He scoffed. âYouâre right, now he may be living and breathing, but he wonât be long. I have my plans for him.â
The fact that Lust was so open about his sins.... about something he was so ashamed of, it made his vesselâs blood boil. He hated the very thought that heâd defied his father. Then again, where had their father been? He hadnât been seen or heard from in over a century.
âWhile the blame couldnât all be herâs.... as you say. I donât know that she ever got the chance to be forgiven. I know I have. Granted, perhaps bearing that abomination of a child was enough.â

That Chase guy was not a bad as he expected at first being what he wasâŠ
Nephilim.
He wasnât after him so that was fine they could coexist. Â But if there had been theyâd just publicly snipe as he often did with Peter. Â Sitting down beside Chase also felt strange shaded of deja vu being back in a setting such as this. Â And the feelings it raised was far from pleasant and that was what kept many from having too much to do with him for fear of getting their head torn off.
Listening to the question the blonde opened up the chocolate milk as it was the only thing he was going to touch, âNo but if I can get someone out of our hair on principle it would be Christina. Â The nosey little psycho dug up a newspaper clipping from when I âcleaned upâ my own school not long before my death. She is going to be a problem in one form or another.â
Looking around he noticed some students were coming and going through an open side door. Â It actually gave him a bit of relief to see outdoors for a change. That building was so crowded with people that were simply a waste of good air. Yet his charge, Lust was there so he had to deal with the unpleasantness as best he could. Â Keeping the Prince safe was the main goal and he would be damned if heâd let one of these little crumb snatchers cause them any trouble.
âWhy donât we go outside, I feel like we could better discuss it there cause this place is a zoo.â
Chase glanced over to the door and then to his watch. âFine, but fair warning. This late in the day, if I leave now, Iâm not coming back in. I say we take our investigation off school grounds. It might converge here, but thereâs a lot of shit happening,â he thought aloud as he realized with a great level of joy, that once he got outside, he could have a smoke.Â
Standing from the table he grabbed his bookbag and a bottle of water heâd bought out of the machine only a few minutes ago. Briefly he thought about turning its contents to vodka, but then decided against it. It wouldnât be smart especially if he and Gage came into contact with their vargulf, or whatever the hell else was out here killing people. Sure, they could hold their own and take care of business, but he understood that since they werenât the only ones involved, it would have to be discreet. There was a way to handle these things, and drunkenly was not it.Â
Getting up, he followed the other outside and around the side of the building. They didnât have to walk too far before theyâd be off school grounds. âI agree. The whole uh.....â he started before pausing, something on angel radio catching his attention for only a moment. It was just loud static. It happened sometimes when there was in influx of prayers all at once. It was like reverb feedback on a microphone. It happened every time there was everything from a natural disaster to a street bombing. A plane falling. A multiple car pile up. Anything that would cause many people to pray for the same thing at once. His face was blank as he shook off the noise and the sickening feeling that came with it.Â
âWait.... what was I saying? Oh! I agree. The whole Christina thing,â he started over. âI have no evidence saying sheâs our main issue, but I canât argue that she isnât an issue all on her own. If she keeps sticking her nose in, not only is she gonna make things harder for everyone, but sheâs going to wind up getting herself hurt or killed.â
