OK so this au has been bouncing around in my head for a little bit now so I figured I'd throw to Tumblr

So post-predacons rising, Knockout works as a medic for the autobots and is the main medic, since ratchet is on earth. Eventually bots, cons and neutrals begin returning. Medics like first aid and velocity then take control of medical facilities. Eventually people don't want a medic without a medical degree. Because of this knockout kinda gets kicked out.

Flash over to shockwave who has been hiding out in one of his underground laboratories. He has been helping predaking, skylinx, and darksteel recreate their species. The lab has a large ceiling and resembles a dome of sorts, but it has little ledges that they perch on.

Somehow, predaking finds knockout and brings him back to shock's lab. Shockwave agrees to give shelter to knockout in return for another approach to restoration of a species. They work on the project and eventually, Knockout starts his own side project. He starts trying to recreate cybertron's flora. Eventually, he recreates a few species of "plants". A type of copper wire vine, energon flowers, a weeping bolt tree, and other things. Soon flowers are all over the lab. Shockwave decided to expand the lab and discovered a natural energonfall. The first one discovered in over 4 million years.

The two scientists decided to not stop at just predacons and a few plants. They recovered fossilized remains of many life forms. Avian species of Vos, the burrowing species of kaon, the marine life of the praxian energon pools, and many many others. They kept many of the flora and fauna in the lab to monitor their behavior. Eventually they released some of the creatures onto the surface.

Sometime after, the autobots discovered the source of the sudden animal re-population of cybertron. They offered shockwave and knockout an official job and started building an above ground lab connected to the original.

So now they have this huge lab where there's animals living in both labs. Eventually bumblebee suggests that anyone struggling to readjust to post-war life, anyone struggling to make a living, and anyone who needs a fresh start, can live at or near the labs and help out with all the chores at the lab. Misfire, fulcrum, blitzwing, whirl, Soundwave, and even starscream will help out. (Even though screamer only stops by occasionally. Soundwave always helps with the feline and Avian species.) They get housing and food, and they don't have to interact with the people they hate. (Knockout keeps track of rivalries to separate them in the schedule). Eventually they start to rehabilitate the planet's diversity and some of the people as well.

And if at one point shockwave saw knockout getting excited about new flower species, and wanted to feel some of that excitement about all of this. And if they worked on a way to slowly reverse the shadowplay, no one has to know.

People do know. They notice it slowly. Shockwave is still a bit cold towards people, but his kindness for the creatures he brought back from extinction is very obvious. Someone who knew him before the war actually started to recognize him again. When he made a small pun knockout couldn't stop smiling. Knockout himself found something that he can finally get behind and adore. He finds himself caring more about the turbofoxes and drones of paradise than his finish. (When he realized this, he had a mental break down.)

Overtime, they helped spread life into cybertron. Although the alspark was starting to create life again, these scientists helped excellerate the process. Beautiful rivers of energon are now filled with aquatic species with banks of delicate flowers, and skies are filled with seekers and bird drones.

When Megatron comes back to cybertron to deposit the djd in prisons, he stood over cybertron and saw that the world he destroyed was healing. He smiled before continuing his journey to right even the smallest bit of the crimes and atrocities he committed.

A decepticon femme who's the embodiment of beautiful assassin girl who could kick your ass, but prefers to flirt first. Does everything for the dramatics of it, for the thrill. Here's some various flirty remarks she'd make to the autobots. In the end, though, she is still a Decepticon, and some of these remarks are a bit cruel. 💕

Bumblebee:

"Oh, little bug, it is a good thing you're pretty, yes?"

*after bee says something* "Ooo~! You're giving me goosebumps! Say it again, little bug!"

Arcee:

"What's a pretty femme like you doing with a raggedy team like that? I'd take much better care of you, mi amor~"

"You know, I can't quite say I mind being pinned underneath you."

Wheeljack (who would most definitely flirt back):

"My, you certainly know how to sweep a femme off her pedes. What comes next? Your place, or mine?"

"It's everything I have in me not to swoon! You've truly charmed me, Jackie."

Bulkhead:

"Hmm. A bit larger than what I'm used to, but I'm sure I can make it work~"

"I'll give you something you can Wreck~"

Ultra Magnus:

"You know, I've always had a thing for mechs in uniform~"

"I've been in stasis cuffs before, lovely. Though I will admit the first time was a bit more... Passionate."

Smokescreen:

"Eager, are we? THAT'S the kind of spirit I like to see in a plaything~!"

"You make me yearn for the mundane, mon cheri~"

Optimus:

"All alone against the big bad wolf? You'll be gentle, won't you?" *followed by somewhat off-putting giggles.*

"Sorry, lovely, I'm afraid I'm already spoken for. Decepticons have my eternal devotion. It is a shame though, you are rather handsome~"

Ratchet:

"Finally, someone with a few thoughts behind their pretty optics."

"Why do that when clashing blades with you is so much more thrilling, mi amor!"

In a shocking turn of events, people have found out that women... can also be assholes! What a fucking shock! Women are people, people who have emotions and can be abusers, gentle lovers, killers and saviours because guess what? Women have individual feelings that can be literally anything because again,

Women are people!

Just because people hate amber (or any one woman really) doesn't mean they hate all women and if you fucking think that, if you group all women into one fucking category? Fuck you, you are doing nothing for womens rights or anyone's rights for that matter. Yes, believe women and Yes, not all women are evil but not all women are fucking saints!

fr the people on tumblr are so brainwashed sometimes. the way you act like it's ALWAYS the man's fault. it's scary how you guys shut yourself out to evidence when it's the woman who's at fault.

i watched large chunks of the trial and there's nothing that can convince me that amber heard DIDN'T defame johnny with malicious intent. you guys want to go around praising women and "believing women" and of course we should. but there are also times when you have to think critically for a moment and parse the evidence. if after watching the trial and being presented with all the evidence you still think amber heard was sexually/physically abused as she claimed... i don't know what to tell you except to brush up on your critical thinking skills. you need to realize that there are some people who WILL lie, who WILL try to defame others to propel themselves up. you need to watch amber's testimony vs johnny's. don't just run with verdict if you haven't seen the evidence and heard what the lawyers were arguing for.

also if you're still on amber's side, pls go listen to the tape recordings of her ADMITTING to hitting johnny depp (there are multiple ones), then go look up the "evidence" she presented of photographs where she claims johnny "whacked" her multiple time while wearing large rings. images are not consistent with her claims, and they have been edited. then go look up talk shows she appeared on and places she's been photographed in and tell me she was "whacked." and no, makeup will not cover swelling or severe bruising.

then go through all the witness statements and tell me they're all lying. managers, cops, deskman, friends, makeup artists -- they're ALL lying for johnny depp? go watch them and tell me what you think of amber heard verbally abusing johnny in public.

and yes, the claim of sexual assault was defamation. if she was assaulted as badly as she claimed on so many different occasions, she would have needed hospitalization. someone would have noticed. for being such a public figure, photographs would picked up bruises, scratches, etc. but there isn't, except that one photograph TMZ took of her at the courthouse, who knew to show up there and which side of her face to photograph because she or her team alerted them. (btw that bruise showed up mysteriously and was gone the next day.)

also, you're putting blame on the jury, who has to go through hours of deliberation and mounds of evidence. if you weren't there, or you didn't watch the trial, how dare you claim that the verdict was unfair or incorrect. and btw, they awarded amber $2 million for waldman's statement, which i find more than fair.

and before anyone goes off on me, i'm a woman. i'd withheld my judgment until i heard from both sides in the trial. all evidence suggests that johnny had not been physically or sexually abusive to amber.

by denouncing this verdict so vehemently, you realize that it's unfair to the MEN who don't come forward with domestic abuse. it's a two-way street. Women are more likely to be abused, but that doesn't mean that men aren't. if all you heard is the media coverage and the shit amber spewed, of course you're gonna side with her. but i'm gonna fault you on bad logic if you didn't consider the evidence. you can't pick and choose who you listen to. just cause amber's a woman doesn't automatically make her a victim.

Heatwave

Heatwave is not used to the attention from anyone, let alone a human

And now that he’s seeing them basically everywhere in need of rescue, he’s starting to get attached!

Whenever they call him cute or handsome, he has to will himself to not get all blue in the cheeks with energon

Sometimes he can’t help it though and they’ll ask Kade if the bot is ok… hehe

He’s pretty excited to see them now, and is the first one on call if they’re in need of rescue

Chase

Like Heatwave, he’s not used to positive attention or compliments

He has to keep himself quiet and make sure he doesn’t blurt something embarrassing out instead

Part of him wants to respond in his robotic tone, but the Chief reminds him not to

Chase tries to act more heroic during rescues, to show off as best he can as a “robot”

He’s probably the best at keeping his blushing under wraps

Boulder

This one is actually the worst one at hiding his emotions!

Whenever he gets called anything cute, he’s almost falling over

He doesn’t focus on staying in robot mode so he nearly fell down the podium steps once… oops

When he gets back to base he can’t stop talking about them!

“You guys won’t believe what they called me today…” all dreamy like

He’s honestly just a dreamy and sweet bot who gets all romantic

Blades

Shy boiiii

He wants to hide his face when he gets complimented so he kind of rocks back and forth on his heels to shake off some steam

His vents just start running like crazy all of a sudden like they ask Dani if the robot is ok

He gets veery embarrassed but the other bots make him feel better about it

Blades doesn’t really share the compliments specifically, though

He believes it’s a special thing between them <3

Please help me afford life-saving insulin and other meds!

hi everyone I know I haven’t been on here in a while, i’m so sorry if anyone was worried. I hate to have to ask for help again but it’s a serious health issue and I don’t know what else to do. I have type 1 diabetes that I’m prescribed human analog insulin in pen form for; there’s about 14 pens every month (one main dose of long-acting a day plus one dose of fast-acting per meal) and several medications. All these meds are extremely expensive and my parents told me the terrible insurance they receive thru work that barely covered them in part before wont cover them at all anymore. we’ve tried a patient assistance program but the application hasn’t been responded to yet and this state probably has a massive backlog of them. without actually saying they won’t, my parents are basically refusing to pay for them ‘right now’ because there are “more serious expenses that have to come first” since they affect the whole household and not just me even though I literally NEED these meds to survive and keep functioning well.

this is partly because I had to cry and beg my parents to let me start getting treatment in the first place. they still don’t like the fact that I’m even taking meds and think I don’t truly need them even though the improvement in me compared to before is so clear. they’re a little more understanding about my diabetes/insulin needs since they know it’s out of my control (I’m lucky I don’t have type 2 tbh) but they’ve still decided that it has to take a backseat. I can’t afford to wait until they feel like everything else that’s ‘more important’ than my wellbeing is taken care of, I’m really worried about the damage my MH could take if I’m off my medication for too long and missing insulin doses on top of that will just make it worse and actually puts my life in danger.

Trying to stagger my eating so I’m having less meals every day helps stretch my mealtime doses out a little longer. right now I only have enough doses left to last about 1 1/2 more weeks so if I can’t raise enough money to at least afford the insulin, I’ll probs have to start rationing them — and if I have to do that for too long it’s very likely to end up killing me. if anyone can spare anything AT ALL to help cover the cost of all my medications, any amount wld truly be so helpful and mean so much! even if you can’t support by d/nating, just reblogging this post to b00st it helps alot! please please share!

And the fact that all of them have their own taste, scent and texture? Like what? Why do you humans make it so complicated? I imagine energon is pretty tasteless, like it’s just a fuel. There is high grade (alcohol equivelant in the comics) of course, which I think is like vodka, so it doesn’t really have a taste it’s just strong. Spices? Never head of them.

"Just a snack. I know it's not a normal meal time, but I skipped breakfast." You explain, thinking he was confused about why you were eating earlier than usual.

"But it looks different from your normal food."

You quirk an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"You normally have those little squishy, square things, um," his brows furrow, trying to remember the word he wants, "sandwiches."

You shrug, "I just didn't feel like making a sandwich."

"But why is it different?"

Still thoroughly confused, you try to answer, "um, I don't really know? Apples grow on trees; they come from plants, and sandwiches are a lot more complicated. You stack a bunch of different, uh like, fillings? On the bread? And put another on top to make a sandwich?"

"..."

"..."

"What is bread?"

Ratchet replies, disinterested, "You're going to tell me anyway."

"Yep!" You chirp, before reading from your laptop, "The process of holding together scar tissue is an active process rather than a passive one. That basically means that if a human doesn't get enough of certain nutrients, their scars will reopen."

You frown, "It doesn't say what nutrients though. I may need to fact-check this..."

Ratchet doesn't hear you, too horrified by the idea that wounds could reopen even after they completely healed.

"Y/n? Didn't you get surgery to get your appendix removed?"

"Yea. Why?"

"Don't you have a massive scar on your stomach?"

"Yea. Why?"

You don't get an answer, but you do notice that Ratchet makes a point to male sure you take your vitamin gummies everyday.

S/o singing shorts part 1!

Arcee was frozen in place the moment your voice found her audio receptors. The gentle song you sang echoed through the empty base, made her feel safe, reminded her so much of her carrier, that she just couldn't process it.

Once her body caught up with her mind however, she took quiet steps down the hall and peeked into storage. There, you stood, not singing to anyone in particular, but still pouring feeling into it.

She was honestly at a loss for words; not that she would have interrupted anyway. For one, blissful moment, she let herself forget about the war and the death and the pain.

When you finally noticed her, you smiled at your lover.

"Oh, hey sweetspark. Are you okay?" You tilt your head.

She lets out a breathy sort've chuckle, "No, I'm good. Just... Haven't heard anybody sing like that in a long time."

She won't try to explain the significance of it now. But she wholeheartedly agrees to sit with you and listen to you sing some more.

What if singing was not really common on Cybertron? What if, in an alternate universe, cybertronian music was made by instruments without any voice? EVEN BETTER- what if singing was a thing, but it was saved for parents to sing their children to sleep and no one else really sang for anything. It was just a cultural thing.

So, when they get to earth and meet you, they discover a new difference between human and cybertronian culture; humans will sing pretty much anywhere.

You're just enjoying the acoustics of the nemesis/base/firehouse and the bots can hear you. They're a little confused for a second, but it's overpowered by the feeling of familiarity and comfort, and the memories each of them have connected to song. (Depending on the bot there might be a few tears)

There is so much content opportunity here and i want to explore all of it.
