late supper #1
I've decided to begin journaling all of the foods I prepare, so here I am. We'll refer to it as a midnight snack! I used sweet potato and butter to make the dish. The recipe is simple, boil the sweet potato until it reaches the desired level of tenderness. I'm putting some butter and olive oil in another pan. Use butter; it's essential for this recipe. When the butter and olive oil are in the pan, sauté the sweet potato. I sautéed the sweet potato until it turned golden brown since I want the outside to be crispy. Buttery, creamy, slightly sweet and flavorful, and crunchy but soft characterize the texture itself. I use cream cheese and strawberry jam for the dipping sauce, since it has a greater balance of salty, sweet, and sour flavors for a larger range of taste. Then a cup of earl grey and lavender tea; it goes really well with the sweet potato!
