hi! need help affording water and food this week!

okay so uh! going to put art fight stuff on hold probably! We really need some help. My partner's paid time off didn't go through and we're in some big trouble this week. Our fridge has been a bit busted for a while now, so we've been having to buy water, and we don't have much for an electricity bill, nonetheless water. And with it being in the 90s and 100s lately (and in the 70s and 80s INSIDE the house), that is uh! Dangerous.

I was going to open up comms in August to give myself time to prepare, but I may end up opening them early. Either way, FOR NOW, I'm gonna gesture over to some places if you're able to just throw a few bucks our way. I'm very willing to do a clean-ish sketch in return. I apologize that that's all I can often rn, I've just been in a very high stress state so I'm trying to manage work load. If you can't donate, boosting/reblogging is much MUCH appreciated.

so good news and bad news!

the good news: ive got my USB bank so my tablet is now full-timed plugged in and im re-taking doodle requests!

the bad news: the reason im doing this is because we just got back a cat that we found and rehomed in april, and she's in rough shape, so i want to get her to the vet ASAP without my folks having to empty their wallets further with how much they've spent on this move

a week into artfight i would like to give out the following reminders: it is okay if you thought you were going to participate but ended up not having time. it is fine if you started out enthused and then lost steam. you do not owe anyone revenges. you are not 'behind' and you are not letting anybody down. it is a silly little game for fun. do not forget this.

I once again saw the very first parkers I ever drew in my sketchbook and went "you know I should really redraw these sometime to compare how well I've gotten at drawing him" and honestly the difference is SO funny....what drawing a guy like 20 times does to a motherfucker. i think these are literally a year apart, too.

anyways if someone has in both their global and individual character permissions to not draw a fat character skinny, to not color them lighter, or to not erase a character's black/poc features such as textured hair, you have GOT to find other characters to draw or get hit with rocks.
