The Golden Wolf and the Silver Shepherd is an interactive text novel set in medieval Spain, blending fantasy and romance.

Once upon a time, there was a wolf who fell in love with a sheep.
But their love made everything bleed, even the sky.
Betrayed.
Stabbed.
They could do nothing in that life.
But...
And in this life?
FEATURES
Play as male, female, or nonbinary; cis or trans; gay, straight, or bisexual; asexual.
One main romance, five secondary romances and some flings.
Take your flock of nine with you.
Some choices have consequences, affecting not only you but also others.
Meet your past lives.
At the end of some chapters, see through the eyes of other characters. (They will be implemented over time.)
WARNINGS
The contents include blood, death, and gore.
This is not suitable for people who are adverse to touch.
Stalking and obsession with the main character.
Religious themes, racism and mention of conquest.
Some characters show signs of jealousy, however one in particular is toxic.
ROMANCE OPTIONS
[MAIN] Raorne (M/W), a god who can transform into a wolf. And, of course, your soulmate through all your lives.
On the surface, they appear stoic, but beneath lies a warm and protective nature, driven to do what is right. Popular for their divine beauty, they make people's hearts flutter, becoming something good and useful(until it isn't so anymore).
[SECONDARY] Felipe (M), your childhood friend, neighbor and twin of Carlos (the older one).
His personality can only be described as fake. Despite his calm and submissive nature, he hides someone who wants to protect something for once in his life; unfortunately, that means going to a very dangerous extreme.
Careful.
[SECONDARY] Carlos (M), your childhood friend, neighbor and twin of Felipe (the younger one).
Willing to help and, at times, a bit of a show-off. He adores his family and friends, especially his brother, despite being aware of what his little brother truly harbors in his heart.
Sadly, the future that awaits him seems full of shackles.
[SECONDARY] Aisha (W), merchant from Muqadish and an artisan, who travel around Terra.
A woman who has explored much of the world and is eager to learn more. An artist with her hands, and creator of some of the most exquisite pieces in her country, thanks to her creative and charismatic mind.
[SECONDARY] ?? (W/M), someone who appears in your memories and sometimes takes over someone else's body.
They are nothing but pain and lies, they who once poisoned the world. Who says they won't do it again to win the heart of the one they love most?
[SECONDARY] ?? (W/M/NB), romance is in the air, as is their music. Some call them bard, others harbinger of misfortune.
People crowd around them to listen to them, to feel their music, and to win their hearts. However, all they want is to play music and reach the right person. Will you be able to discover what their fingers are plying?

First, this week I'll upload the mood boards for Felipe, Carlos, and Aisha.
And as for the update... I still need to transfer what I wrote to Twine up to where it ends, then reread everything to see how it looks, test it, and make changes if needed.
The update will include some fixes (one of them is that apparently a variable was fixed and I forgot to reset it), another POV at the end of Chapter 1 (Carlos's POV MC's birthday), and new content (the real Chapter 2, Part 1/3).
A total of more than 53,000 words; when chapter 2 is completed, the entire if should approach 100,000 words. No code.
A small disclaimer regarding word count. I'm not obsessive about it, so whether it's more or less doesn't worry me much. Besides, I always undercount.
If all goes well: I'll start transferring everything tomorrow. The rest of the week will be spent editing and fixing bugs. If I have it ready by Sunday, I might update it that day. If not, it should be on Monday (10th) or Tuesday (11th) of next week.
At the end of every month, we will post this roundup, summarizing the IFs that were released or updated! You will also find a list of all the rec lists we posted and what events we held in that particular month!

With a stoic face but a heart of gold, he/she's always ready to help those in need, using his/her handsome/beautiful looks to both intimidate and attract people. He/She has a cheeky side from time to time, especially when it comes to teasing his/her loved ones.
Golden, wavy hair that could be mistaken for threads of pure gold. Eyes as cold as the moon, yet of a beauty surpassing it. His/Her sun-tanned skin could be called the touch of God. You will not find anyone like him/her.
No matter where you go; the moon and the sun are always chasing each other.
Until the blood makes them collide, turning them into one.
Meh, I thought MC would be… a wolf. But it's the same pattern as always; RO being some kind of god, demon blah blah, and the human MC being their so-called "soulmate". Cliché.
I thought anon would be a person. But instead, it is a disrespectful being. Clichè.

The problem isn't the criticism, which I am very open to; in this ask, it is non-existent. If you don't like something, you skip it and find something else that you like.
You could criticize the writing or the way characters are handled. With a mature criticism, that's for sure. But, instead of that, you go and ‘criticize’ the theme… Clichè? That's the point; there are people—hundreds of them—who writes many clichés scenes, but the beauty of it is how they handle it—sometimes bad, sometimes good. I am sure you have consumed media with many clichés and said nothing… Right?
Second, writing is my escape from depression. I write for my own enjoyment—as many other if writers do—and if someone enjoys it, then it is a big plus.
I really hope that one day you get to self-reflect in your words and what you truly aimed to do here.
Twins having the same crush is evil. And who am I to deny people that pleasure? XD
When I was writing the guidelines for GWSS, I realized that at first, Carlos wasn't going to be a romance option. When I wrote the first draft of the first chapter, I didn't devote much attention to him, resulting in minimal character development.
Then, in the second draft, when I added Lucía as a fling, I realized that Carlos had the potential to be a romance option and create a dynamic I’d like to explore. Especially between two twin brothers. Though raised the same, they differed in many personal ways.
It's like the yin and yang.
Felipe, on the other hand, was the same at first, too. A fling. When I added the secondary romance option, he was the first person who came to mind. I did want to have a toxic romance, or at least, the basis of a toxic one. I don't like much toxic romance, but sometimes I read about what I don't usually like because of curiosity or how other writers write something—and sometimes I get a good surprise.
I did want to explore it on my own.
So having the twins as an option and mixing them regardless of your chosen relationship is not something fresh; I know, it is very cliché at this point. But I hope to convey my point through the book with them-as individuals and as their relationship with each other.
First update post after I made a separate blog for GWSS.
NEWS
I have a rough draft (the first one) until we reach our first destination, where you will meet Aisha and one of the (??) . The next update should contain everything that happens on the journey to get there and end at the gates of the small town.
In other words, it's the chapter’s introduction.
The chapter is long because there are several options with different paths (that’s why I’m going to split it into parts—updates—but there won't be more than four), depending on your friendship or romance with certain characters. I’ll also add another POV at the end of Chapter 1, in addition to the one we already have.
I hope to create a system in the near future that lets you view the POVs again at any time (I’ll work on that in the background).
Where is your next stop?
Santillana Maris or, in real life, Santillana del Mar, is a town that is very beautiful and has a lot of history. The Cave of Altamira (and the museum) is here too; I have visited the place a few times and it is a fascinating place for prehistoric enthusiasts.
