Details will be in the next Weekly Shounen Jump Magazine or official jump web!!

Highlighting the names to make it clear that Kishi isn’t writing this, although he is supervising.

Ukyou Kodachi is the writer of this series. He was the writer of Gaara Hiden, and co-writer of Boruto, so it’s good to hear tbh.

Ikemoto Mikio, the illustrator, is one of Kishimoto’s assistants, so it’ll be nice to have someone who’s been with the series a long time on board too.

So at first glance it looks pretty promising tbh, even if it isn’t written by Kishi.

EDIT: Smh, there I was talking about accuracy and I went and goofed on my own. Sorry guys, in my rush to make who was writing the Boruto series clear, I went and mixed up 月1 with 1月. The order of the kanji and number mark the difference between ‘once a month’ and ‘first month ie January’.

So no, the serialization doesn’t begin in January, tho it is still due in Spring, and yes it will be monthly (I can’t believe I didn’t notice my mistake in this post even after reblogging the post about the article confirming it’ll be serialized monthly too >.<). Anyway, I’ve edited the translation above to reflect this. My sincerest apology for the mistake, and deepest thanks to @honyakusha-eri for pointing it out!
