I often feel restricted to have public conversation about racism because I'm so perceptive it seems most of my white friends don't seem to get it. That leaves me with this ultimate dichotomy of valuing their friendship over my people's injustice. Then facing the condemnation of Christians about separating the body, and not speaking on Black on Black crime. It's a turmoil that I deal with daily, it's a restraint of anger being held by the blood. I'm a calculated, I am meticulous in every move I make. I tip toe around other people's hearts on bloody feet. I'm not responsible for your apathy. I may not get a lot of things right when it comes to serving God, but I know I get Love. Even when it hurts. I get that. Some of you should try it.

This may ring true, but at the same time is not always a reality in a busy world. Preference is okay, but don't line your relationships with expectations that will surely succumb to circumstance at one point or another. Need we be reminded on how long God has waited for some of us, and how the presence of his undying love should humble our 3 hour temper tantrums for assurance.
