Speaking of animated show i could never get into, i NEVER got Smiling friends.

I've seen so so many people talk about it as this amazing thing, a gem of adult animated shows, but i just never got it. I watched the entirety of season 1 + a couple episodes from seasons 2 and 3 that got really talked about (the one w the video game character and the "Alan we're soooooo fucked" one) and i had a straight face almost the entire time i was watching it it's just. I don't get it man.

Smiling friends is built off of humor from niche corners of the internet and most gags are so "blink and you'll miss it" that it can be hard digesting the jokes. What I like about it though is that most jokes don't overstay their welcome and episodes flow really well

i think there might be something wrong with me because no matter how hard i try to draw i can never mentally bring myself to continue if i screw up it feels like someone's shouting harsh things at me and it makes me bummed out
