Future projects
I found a solution for a problem I was having with my sewing machine (I have literally no good space to put it), so the next thing I plan on creating is several recreations of a skirt I made for myself in the past.
I posted it on Reddit and someone told me they liked it enough that they would buy one, so I'm considering making that the next product to launch on my etsy. I'm hoping to create several sizes and styles of the same skirt so that there is something for everybody.
I'm also making one for a friend of mine to help her make use of clothes that no longer suit her.
But whos to know, I may focus on bags first, depends what I end up in the mood for.
I launched my Etsy shop today so of course I'm a little nervous but excited to see if this takes me somewhere.
I've also been working on organizing my space, I purchased 6 milk crates... hopefully that isn't too many.

I got a sewing machine for free.
I try to be really nice to the customers at my job, it has paid off for me a lot in my life (endless troll dolls, strange men who tip a lot)... a few weeks ago a customer from my job gave me a sewing machine. He's a nice man and he knew I'd put it to use! I had a friend come over and explain it to me. It was missing a part but it wasnt anything serious so I literally fixed it with a broken painbrush and superglue (I'll probably come up with something better one day). So far none of my attempts are super amazing but I think this will really help me create things faster, handsewing is fine for certain things but I wanna try doing bigger crazier things. I did make myself a comfy little cushion to sit on though. I filled it with regular stuffing and burlap so its pretty strudy, medium soft and kinda heavy, good for sitting on the floor.
I'll probably make a lot of very ugly throw pillows as gifts before anything really nice comes of this but I'm really excited about it. I think this might end up changing my life for the better.
Everytime the man comes in I give him updates, I gotta thank him a few more times.
I'm also hoping to make a really cute little tote style bag for my sisters next birthday (Early 2024) from a pair of childrens pants with a very cool pattern.
Oh... and fix lots and lots of ripped clothing I've been refusing to part with for longer than a rational person would.
I'm back.
I've decided to take this moment to do a little re-branding, I'll be posting information I find usefull here. Perhaps if I get around to it I'll use this space as a database for projects. Kinda like a personal website.
A little info on me if you've come across this page somehow:
I'm a woman and I live close to NYC, I live with my parents (ahhhh hahha, ya know, the economy) even though I just turned 26. My goals for the coming year are to start creating art that can be enjoyed by the masses, and saving money towards my future (I wanna move to Vermont)
My hobbies include pouring my heart and soul into my 1998 Buick Lesabre even though it will likely die in about 3 years (if nothing horrible happens), creating intricate handsewn felt patches, painting (Abstract mixed media), and collecting dolls, collectables and vintage fashion. I'm interested in creating things in a more sustainable way because I believe that enough stuff already exists, things don't need to be brand new. I like girly 90's music (Cub, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Cibo Matto, TLC, Plumtree and others). I also recently got into skateboarding and I'm actually pretty good.
Originally I used tumblr as a teen and made some good friends so if you're of a similar age and ambition as me don't be afraid to reach out to me.
Stay tuned to see what I'm up to.
