Daler Mehndi - Tunak Tunak Tun
AKA one of the most iconic dance songs of my childhood. He was HUGE. He was THE MEME. After receiving criticism that his music only sold because he had boobs in all his videos, he made a song, and video for it, with only himself as every character. It topped the charts in his demographic. It made world charts. The meme took off. It was HUGE. They underestimated his power.

1998... what a time to be alive.
We all learned this dance at my school. For some reason synchronized dance was HUGE in the 2000s. We were a very gay crowd tbh... It was spectacular.
Rasputin - Majestic ft Boney M
A russian classic reimagined in modern times. 1978 was a funky time, but it still rings true... Rasputin captured the hearts of generations.
The years this spans are immense. Having releases from long before I was born until present day. Because, you know... Rasputin. It was a shame how he carried on.
A dance hit for many years, although there were MANY other versions including the metal versions that were so popular over the years.

Cascada - Every Time We Touch
Axel F - Crazy Frog
I used to work with a guy who looked like the crazy frog. He was short too, which added to the look. He was an equally powerful and unstoppable force though, and was not to be messed with.
Eiffel 65 - Blue (da ba dee)
They literally made this in a lab with a team during a project. It wasn’t actually a band until it turned out to be a massive hit, at which point they made a fake band from the people at the studio to be the figureheads for Eiffel 65. It was actually WAY more people, but having a massive studio group was not conducive to the scene. So they rolled with it.
rednex - cotton eye joe
A hillbilly rave, because fuck it let’s party.
