i’ve come to think that reality is very much boring and that life is not worth living. why did we invent fiction?

my life is not theirs. i don’t go to a boarding school. i’m not in love with someone that loves me back. i don’t live in italy. i can’t sing. i can’t speak french.

everything i want i can’t have. why can’t i want something real, something simple?

i want to die but i can’t. i feel ashamed when thinking of the potential consequences.

my death would be boring and unpoetic. i am not a famous singer that people will say they miss. i am not a girl in a movie. there’d be no music, no slow motion, just reality.
