It's our anniversary!

Tomorrow, on #nationalcookiedday is our 7th anniversary. I didn't know that I launched Good Mexican Girl on that holiday. I love serendipitous connections. We're getting ready to launch our next cookie. On Instagram and our Facebook page we're taking a poll of which should be our next cookie. It'll be vegan. The contenders are ginger snap, lemon shortbread, or an almond orange blossom biscotti dipped in chocolate. We'll keep you posted on the results.

In the meantime, I'm so grateful for your support. I love meeting you in person at our pop-up shops.

In the book Loving Kindness they offer a great acronym RAIN Recognize what's come up Acknowledge what your feeling Investigate it's source Non-attachment Using language such as: In this moment vs this always happens to me is the start of the shift In this moment, I'm noticing that when they said / did _____, I felt ________. As you investigate, you may recognize an earlier experience of that similar event. In the non-attachment you can have distance and new clarity about what got you emotionally hooked. This is an opportunity to heal that wound. If need support around this come get a session with me.
