I just wanted to say I have no issue with proshippers and am one myself however I wish some proshippers understood that me having fictives due to my DID isn't the same as that character actually interacting with them. No my Ticci Toby fictive is not the same as the actually creepypasta. He isn't your serial axe murderer boyfriend. He exists because I was severely abused and traumatized as a child to the point my brain didn't form a cohesive personality.

We have no idea how going to be really honest!! We don't know how to share our blog with other people without giving our hosts whole Tumblr (with 30 side blogs) account away and they'd murder us(not serious) for that !!! I’m in a fandom where there’s a lot of incest. It isn’t my thing, and I try my best to block and avoid it whenever I can. I think I kind of just need to get this off my chest as a former anti (who was really only "anti" due to bullying and anxiety).

I was surrounded by antis for ages and it made me insane not gonna lie. I have OCD so I was like, literally consumed by fear of doing a "thought crime". When I turned 18 I thought I wasn't allowed to have crushes on 17 year old anime characters anymore. Lately I've been trying to work through this because it's genuinely been depressing to suppress my interests for fear of being harassed. Like no, I'm not gonna bad stuff I like in fiction irl, so why should I be treated the same way as someone who is actively doing those bad things?

Anyways this is all to say I'm glad to call myself a proshipper now. I feel way less anxious now that I'm not surrounded by people who are threatening me for having "bad thoughts".

I wanted to know exactly what "proship art style" is, the anon 🌍🍥 mentioned it, and I don't understand. Antis started generalizing moe style/cuter art, saying it's a proship style, Honestly, I don't care, but it's totally wrong. I see proshippers with many different styles very often because, obviously, being a proshipper doesn't change anything; We are all human beings who consume styles that we like and want to replicate, feeling comfortable with the style we've practiced so much, etc., But people think proshippers are robots that follow the same mold??? My take is that if you block someone, you also shouldn’t have to see their posts when they’re reblogged by someone (or at least, you should get a pop-up like the maturity one, where it’ll say “The OG post is from someone you blocked” or smth and you can choose to see it or not).
