Sherlolly 2021 Calendar - Theme Announcement

Hello lovely Sherlollians! I’m here to announce that the theme for the Sherlolly 2021 calendar will be “book club”!

What does that mean? Well, I took inspiration from all of you who submitted responses to my poll about this a few weeks ago and I realized that a lot of the ideas could be condensed down into this theme. Each month, I will have an AU based on one of my favorite books! Based on your responses from that poll, I’m pretty sure that you guys will really love what I end up doing with them. 

When will the calendar go on sale? Well, realistically? Probably the first week of December. If I can, I will try to have a pre-sale earlier than that, but if I do, I will make an announcement here first. 

Additionally, thanks to a request from the wonderful @mychakk​, I will probably be making the art from previous calendars available in some form. Not sure how yet, but that’s also in the works! 

Thanks to all of you for still being here! I can’t believe I’ve been part of this fandom for almost 10 years and we haven’t had new episodes for 3 years, but wow the love for this ship is still strong!

Do you know of the movie Pompeii with Kit Harrington and Emily Browning? Where a young British gladiator and a wealthy Roman lady fall in love and eventually tragically perish together, clasped in an everlasting kiss, in the eruption of Pompeii? I was thinking of doing a Sherlolly fic based on that where Sherlock is the Briton and Molly is the roman lady. Would anyone read that?

Sherlock found the local forensic department insufferable, so he sent Molly the autopsy report to have her professional opinion. But between Sherlock wearing glasses (which Molly finds particularly sexy), Toby meowing from the next room and her usual technical problems, Molly was not being able to concentrate. 

Neither was Sherlock. ;)
