Made an Ena variant for fun, and did some versions based on how the original changes in different episodes. Edited them into the potluck thumbnail too. I only really doodled it, cause if I actually tried to do good art, I would sit for hours and hours and then delete the whole thing.
Was inspired by Dream BBQ and a lot of recent Ena voice claim videos and wanted to revisit this design and try to give her a unique outfit. I am very tired so kinda phoned it in and this is by no means a final look for her. I don't have my computer or drawing tablet so this was drawn with a mouse over a screenshot from Temptation Stairway.

First early concept sketches for the protagonists of my new game, Willow and Wisp. I'm having a hard time with Willow's body and Wisp's face, but I don't think these are bad for very quick first drafts!
The game will likely be a Halloween themed block pushing puzzle game starring these two. Wisp, a Will-o-Wisp stuck in a lantern) and Willow, a ghost must help him get to the end of each level. Normally she can move through objects freely - but when she's close to him, she becomes corporeal and can't move through walls. Hope to show off more of this soon, as I'm working on a basic prototype!
I'm sure it has it's own fun new bugs to replace the old ones, but Penny in the Northwest Woods is now updated to Ver 1.1 which fixes a lot of pretty glaring bugs I'd somehow missed with the original.
Update 1.2 is now live, hopefully this will be the last update, or if not, close to it.

Honestly my favourite thing about the default talk sprite for Penny, is that she looks like she has exactly zero thoughts behind those eyes, but she clearly also thinks whoever she's looking at is even more stupid.

Little guy moment!
He's called Mickey.
Here's a portrait featured in the background of the first room of the game, featuring the current iterations of Albert and Olivia and a baby Penny. This is almost definitely not the final version of their designs, but it is the final version for this game at least. Below I've attached a quick recreation of how I used to doodle them, as well as my first god awful attempts to draw them a few years back!
I used to doodle them constantly in school and it is so much harder to do with a wonky mouse than a pen lol (the shapes are all wrong here especially on Olivia but it gives you the idea). You can see a better example in my post from yesterday.
(I still kinda like this early Albert he's very cute, and honestly is closer to his actual imagined personality)
These are the incredibly rushed early versions from 5 years ago when I tried to do inktober. I didn't like them (especially Olivia) then and I definitely cringe at them now. Clearly my tendency to use flicky eyelash lines has stuck around though.
