Actually one thing I love about Tim Drake is that in comics he cameos in, he's like the fixer?? Like, people just go to him with problems and expect him to talk them through it/help them and he just does??? He's always doing some little job for someone, digging into people's pasts or offering moral support and I love that??? He's so competent, how could I not love him??
#i know this is on a socioemotional level but i love him as the family handyman too#like dick's kitchen sink breaks and he can't totally afford to hire a plumber so he calls tim up#and by the time he's back from patrol it's fixed#or steph's laptop going kaput right before a paper is due and tim is at her dorm in 20 minutes with a case of tiny screwdrivers#tim the kinda guy to help someone he just met move and re-tile the bathroom while he's at it – @bloodandpulse

#this goes hand in hand with being the “save the day with the power of friendship” guy#because people know and trust him. so theyll bring their problems and trust that he'll have solutions#or they choose him over other characters. i can think of multiple times dicks gone to tim instead of babs for a tech thing#because he might not be on the same level as her but tim is extremely competent#(also dick might not be talking to babs for whatever reason lol)#but yeah. tim loves fixing problems for people – @starcrossedconverse
OP what are your thoughts on KonJon?
I personally think that Jon would be an obsessive little shit. I mean, to him, it's like, the only other person who is remotely similar to him except for Clark is Kon. And Kon is kind to him he plays with him, Kon is super cool with his leather jacket and all too. SO he'd have a puppy crush on him at first.
Then he'll see how Kon is always treated with suspicion by a lot of heroes including his dad, and how the consequences for his mistakes are always worse than they are to other kid superheroes.
Jon's too young at that time to know that it's cause Kon's got half of Lex's DNA. All he'll see is that there's a boy he likes, and it's widely acceptable for him to treat the said boy like shit cause, well obviously, if everyone else does it, Kon probably deserves it.
And when Jon gets his powers and grows up, he'll be stronger than Kon. (Cause he's Clark's biological offspring ig?) And whatever he decides to do with Kon, it's not like he needs to be nice to Kon, because it's practically common knowledge that you don't be too nice to Kon-El, in case he turns evil.
(And it's not like Kon can overpower him either. Jon can even be super nice to Kon if he just listened to him.)

i loveeee konjon!! granted, i'm yet to meet a supercest ship i don't like, but konjon in all its many potential flavours is very compelling to me.
jon having a furious crush on kon when he's younger is indeed a concept very very dear to my heart (x). exactly as you say, i think kon being so kind to him and interested in his and his life and interests, and all while going around looking like that — in all his leather jacketed, eyelinered, smoky suave rockstar-esque tanned and golden glory — would just melt poor jon (and phwoar, who could blame him?). add to all that that kon is kinda his cousin, but kinda his uncle also, and brother, and also none of those, and it makes perfect sense that jon's wires get crossed and he ends up at "one day, when i'm a grown-up, i'm gonna marry him!! 🤩😊😍"
as for the rest of your ask, i'm afraid i'm generally a proponent of the "kon is a clone of just clark (except whoops cadmus gave him the bonus extra of ✨tactile telekinesis✨)" side of things — or sometimes the paul westfield clone origin — so i'm probably not well-positioned to explore the version of events where he's half lex (sorry!)
but!! walking with you (so to say), i do find myself very intrigued by the...tragedy of circumstance, i think i'd call it?? that you pose here. this idea that even though jon doesn't have all the facts, his puppy crush can't remain innocent and untainted for all that long in the face of his growing awareness of how kon is treated by everyone else around them — and that no matter how wholesome or ardent his affections were in the beginning, jon will eventually, inevitably, succumb to treating kon the same way everyone else does.
and even more tragic from kon's perspective, because he (at least in the characterisation for him i'm working with) is both unfailingly generous and much more perceptive than he lets on. so perhaps he's fully aware of the little crush jon has on him as a kid, and then he gets to have the wildly fun experience (not) of watching jon's feelings slowly sour, first with wariness of him and then with disdain for him — and kon knows all the while that despite that, whatever jon needs or wants from him...kon will give.
and he'll even let jon think he's taking it.

Actually I didn't think about Kon knowing about Jon's feeling at first, cause in my characterization of him, I place him in a weird place where he's simultaneously every age he could be from 5 to 18, and he's learning what living looks like and that you need an ID card and the stores don't just hand out free food, and then with a little clone angst about personhood and abandonment issues. And it'll probably take him at least a decade to work through it, so he'll be oblivious.
But actually, Kon's kind of a genius right? I can totally see him knowing about it and just letting it be cause he actually likes and cares about Jon. and then the tragedy of seeing how it turns in to something sinister, and how his little brother starts to view him as something below human would be so painful.
But going by the post you mentioned I can totally see Jon being the one to protect Kon against everyone else too!
former groomed teenager and current grown-up kon being fiercely protective of jon, checking in with him about every relationship he has with other adults (up to and including clark and lois), making sure he knows all about consent and boundaries what it's appropriate for people to want from him...and in doing so, inadvertently fuelling jon's crush. and jon is smart enough to deduct that kon probably feels so strongly about all this due to personal experiences he doesn't talk about (at least, not where jon's ever able to hear), so he tries really, really hard not to get caught swooning over him. but then some c-lister villain makes a vaguely creepy comment in jon's direction and kon punts them into the stratosphere, and it's so hot and so much and jon's squirming with admiration and gratitude and sexual frustration and love and maybe just a tiny bit of humiliation (because, hey! he can defend himself, kon). and kon's mistaking it for jon being upset, immediately rushing to comfort him, and — oh — that's probably 'cuz jon's crying. and he tries, really tries, to explain that he's not sad or even angry really, there's just so many feelings inside him they're overflowing, but he's stumbling over his words and it's just making it all worse and harder and—"can you please just fuck me already?!"

and then there's Clark who will suddenly have someone he doesn't have to be careful with. Kon's his clone, Clark doesn't have to control himself in fear of hurting Kon. (he is still hurting kon but kon's not saying shit and clark is perhaps enjoying it.)
it's a stark contrast to all the other partners clark's had until now cause he can put all his strength in to punching kon and he'll be right as rain by the next day. (he doesn't even have to feel bad about fucking him in to the bed after fighting off another one of Luthor's plans. he feels so much better later. and if he does hear someone sniffling in the bathroom later, well he'll tell him if it's important in the morning.)
So since Kon's idea of his personhood is so mangled, he won't actually fight Clrak on any of this, he'll probably even feel a little happy cause he's helping clark. and this in turn will lead to Clark dehumanizing him more, cause if the boy isn't speaking up, then he's probably fine with it.

hi!!! oh my stars this is one of the most delicious asks i've ever received, thank you so much and i'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply to (been offline with personal stuff) — but fear not! the supercest time in my life has very much not passed.
and this!!!! yes!!!!!! this is so compelling to me. kon's standards for the amount of care and compassion he's owed are so incredibly low as to be essentially non-existent. right from the beginning, but even more so after the first few arcs of his solo and especially pre-/during/post-Losin' It.
and if, then, clark takes more of an interest in him — that's superman! that's kon's hero! even in the lightly-badwrong 'verse, clark does still on some level care about him and not hurting him, because of course he does! ...right?
(and, like. yeah, he does! kinda! but as you say, clark is also flying high off the freedom kon's existence affords him. i'm imagining the first incident that puts clarkkon on the slippery slope is some kind of mind control situation after which clark is relieved by the fact that even though he was brainwashed into beating kon up, clark knows he could take those punches. so kon can. because kon's just like him.)
and thus it slides into sparring and training kon's powers (or, the guise of that) and eventually to sex, and kon's just so in awe and wonder at how much superman (the superman! the real one!) needs little ol' him, that he'll endure just about anything with a brave face and it's not even necessarily entirely a lie.
...even if sometimes he's crumpled and sticky on the cold tile floor of clark's ensuite, trying to pull himself together because he has to be gone before lois gets home.

omg the delicious image of Kon limping out of Clark's ensuite before being caught by Lois. and he doesn't even actually know WHY he's supposed to be secretive about this. because it's just Superman teaching him, right? but since Clark asks that of him, he makes sure to be secretive.
Kon out of the labs with no first hand knowledge about the real world, knowing just what Lex decided he needed to know. And thinking pain is normal, because that's how it was like, in the labs.
