Roughly ONE in FOUR Bernie supporters would vote for Donald Trump over someone like Elizabeth Warren (who is largely viewed as the candidate most like Sanders ideologically).

Only half of Bernie’s current supporters voted for Clinton in the 2016 general election. Roughly a third of them voted for either Trump or a third party candidate.

This is why a lot of Democratic primary voters have soured on Sanders.

Also, despite the Sanders campaign making the argument that he is most electable candidate, every candidate except Biden (who is up by 6) falls within the margin of error in a head-to-head match up with Trump.
