I need to take monkey to the vet. She’s 3 years old and will only eat yogurt. Stubborn old lady 😭. I can’t get her to drink or eat anything solid and am suspecting a URI or old age. She also has a lot of red stuff coming from her eyes and nose which is common with rats who have upper respiratory infections.

I will need about $50 in total for the visits and her medicine. If they can’t help her I may have to have her put to sleep which will be around $75. If you have a dollar to spare monkey and I would really appreciate your help.

i’m remaking this because the old post was losing traction and didn’t have all the info on a lot of the reblogs going around.

a family friend, darion, is currently being held in an ICE detention center, to be deported. his parents brought him to the united states when he was a small child, so he has no contacts and no memory of his home country. his only living relative is his younger brother, who would not be going with him, as he was born in the US and thus has citizenship.

everyone is really worried about him because, as we all know by now, there’s a pandemic, and detention centers are not known for their fantastic medical care. he also struggles with depression, so that adds another layer of worry.

we’re trying to raise money for a lawyer for him, and we need all the help we can get. i know pretty much nobody has money to spare right now, i’m really sorry to have to ask.
