Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce at age 38 raced into history today, her final lap in an iconic career. She ran in Jamaica’s 4×100m relay to a silver medal at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo, passing the baton, quite literally to the next generation. 🏃🏾‍♀️🇯🇲

Her personal best of 10.60 seconds (2021) makes her the third-fastest woman in history. Over nearly two decades she collected three Olympic golds, ten world golds, and became a symbol of resilience, coming back after giving birth, defying expectations about age, motherhood, and longevity in sport.

Her final individual race (100m final in Tokyo) ended with a 6th-place finish (11.03s), but make no mistake, her legacy is so much bigger than time or medals. She showed us what consistency, heart, and identity look like. Thank you, “Pocket Rocket,” for everything you’ve contributed to the sport. 🏃🏾‍♀️🚀

It’s officially the first day of summer in the northern hemisphere ☀️ It’s been a really cold June so far, but from past experience, I know it can suddenly turn blazing hot. And then the only thing left to do is go swimming in some cool water! As much as I dislike the heat, there’s truly nothing like swimming in the summer 💙
