i finally got the furthest ive ever gotten with mental health services recently and they were like "hm...have u considered your symptoms may just be thr autism?" like. yes i understand i can be traumatised by not knowing i was autistic for a very long time. i am not denying that may be part of it. but i do also think a childhood featuring 13 years of imprisonment and near-total isolation alongside torture and severe abuse may be a significantly contributing factor to these symptoms. pardon my armchair psychoanalysis.

its like the physiotherapist looking at my hypermobility and totally brushing off all my other symptoms to focus exclusively on Hand Bend Funy = "maybe ur just flexible lol". like.......i have to use a cane sometimes babes. you saw me use a cane to my first appointment bc i basically couldnt walk. im in constant pain. im in pain rn.

in any case the mh lady said theyd try and sort out actual therapy for me so yay :) it only took 15 years :)
