Help an unemployed disabled trans girl with medical bills?
Still unemployed and even though I paid off my credit card debt I’m still in the hole when it comes to the tonsillitis I had recently, and various dental issues related to it. If anyone’s willing to help with that lemme know. Currently need around $475 for the bills and any extra help would also be appreciated.
We are LGBTQ+ refugees living in Gorom refugee camp in South Sudan, struggling every day to survive in extremely difficult conditions. Many of us fled violence, discrimination, and persecution in search of safety, but life in the camp remains harsh and uncertain.
We face shortages of food, clean water, shelter, medicine, and basic hygiene supplies. As queer refugees, we are also vulnerable to isolation, stigma, and insecurity. Some members of our community sleep hungry, lack proper medical care, and live without the dignity and protection every human being deserves.
Today, we are reaching out to kind-hearted people and well-wishers around the world to ask for your support. Your donation to our GoFundMe campaign can help provide emergency food, safe shelter, clothing, medical assistance, and other essential needs for vulnerable LGBTQ+ refugees in the camp.
No amount is too small. Every contribution brings hope and reminds us that we are not forgotten. If you are unable to donate, please help by sharing our campaign with others who may be willing to support us.
We believe in a future where every person can live safely and freely, regardless of who they are or who they love. Until then, your compassion can help us survive and rebuild our lives.
Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time. Your kindness means more than words can express.

LGBTQ+ refugees in Gorom refugee camp struggling to survive:
Many of us have fled violence, rejection, imprisonment, and persecution simply for being who we are. Instead of finding safety, we are now facing hunger, lack of shelter, untreated illness, discrimination, and daily fear inside the camp.
We go days without enough food. Some of us sleep without mattresses, blankets, or proper protection from rain and heat. Access to medicine, hygiene products, and safe spaces is extremely limited. Many of us have no family support and nowhere else to turn.
We are human beings who deserve dignity, safety, and hope.
We are asking kind people around the world to help support us, the LGBTQ+ refugees in Gorom refugee camp, with:
🏳️🌈 Food and clean water
🏳️🌈 Shelter and bedding
🏳️🌈 Medical care and hygiene supplies
🏳️🌈 Clothing and basic necessities
🏳️🌈 Emergency support
Every donation, every reblog, and every share can help someone survive another day.

Forgotten, Displaced, and Still Fighting to Survive 🌈
LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers in South Sudan and Sudan face a double burden: fleeing war, violence, and persecution only to face more discrimination because of who they are.
Many escaped countries like Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and Democratic Republic of the Congo where being LGBTQ+ can mean rejection, violence, or prison. In places like Gorom Refugee Settlement, safety is still uncertain.
“We are refugees, but also targets.”
They struggle with: ❗ Lack of food and shelter
❗ Violence and harassment
❗ Limited access to healthcare
❗ Discrimination in refugee camps
❗ No safe path to asylum or protection
South Sudan currently hosts more than 600,000 refugees and asylum seekers, with the majority being Sudanese refugees fleeing conflict.
Many LGBTQ+ refugees report being excluded even inside protection systems, living in silence and fear. Their stories are often ignored during global refugee discussions.
🏳️🌈 Refugee rights are LGBTQ+ rights.
🏳️⚧️ Safety should not depend on identity.
❤️ No one should have to choose between persecution and survival.

No matter your answer, you have another opportunity right now.
We are a group of LGBTIQ+ refugees struggling to survive in Sudan. Every day, we face unimaginable persecution, violence, and rejection. On top of this, we are battling severe shortages of food, medical care, and shelter.
Hunger is a daily reality. Many of us go days without food, and medical assistance is nearly impossible to access. Our shelters are small and inadequate, leaving us exposed to harsh conditions. For lesbians, even basic sanitary products are out of reach.
With your help, we can change this. Your donation will go directly toward food, medication, and urgently needed tents to provide safe shelter. No amount is too small every dollar makes a difference in our survival.
🌍 Please donate today and be part of our fight for survival. Your kindness can help improve and even

We are a group of LGBTQ refugees currently living in South Sudan. We fled our home countries due to persecution of LGBTQ people. We are 416 in number, consisting of transgenders, gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, and queer individuals, currently being partially protected in Gorom refugee camp.
We have been stranded here, trapped in a homophobic environment for a long time, facing starvation, rejection, discrimination, verbal and physical attacks, and a lack of medical care. Many of our mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers disowned us and distanced themselves from us. With no one else to turn to, we are reaching out to you for support.

We take this opportunity to thank every single person who has donated to us and shared our message. Your kindness is the reason we are able to get food, medication, and other basic needs here in the camp. Without your support, surviving would be almost impossible.
However, many of us are still in Gorom refugee camp, facing daily hardship, fear, and uncertainty. We are still struggling, but we hold on to hope that one day we too will have a chance to live in safety and dignity.
We humbly ask for your continued support. Every single dollar truly saves lives. Thank you for standing with us, for believing in us, and for helping us survive during these very difficult times.

Imagine fleeing your home country to a foreign land (foreign country) due to homophobia and draconian laws that criminalize homosexuality. This unfortunate experience is what we the queer refugees have experienced.
Life in Gorom refugee camp is quite challenging with regard to accessing basic human needs. On several days, we have had to go to bed on an empty stomach. Most of us lack a support system because the people who are supposed to offer us support, our family and friends, rejected us due to our sexualities.
Please donate to our fundraiser to help us access basic needs:
