I’m not fortune’s fool. I’m yours. (meta)
Something we should talk about in regards to Hannigram is the fact that Will says ‘I’m not fortune’s fool. I’m yours.’ He is obviously quoting Romeo, who states ‘O, I am fortune’s fool’ after murdering Tybalt. Romeo is accentuating the fact that he is no longer in control of his fate as that particular act of violence has robbed him of a future with Juliet. In addition to that, Shakespeare liked to personify fortune (hence why it is often capitalised in his plays) and here in Romeo and Juliet, Romeo realises that regardless of anything he has done or will do, he has relinquished his control in regards to the future and has placed it in Fortune’s hands.
In the context of Hannigram, Will is essentially saying that Fortune is not in control of his future. Hannibal is. Hannibal is his fortune and by association, his future. So however subliminally, Will is stating that his future lies with Hannibal. Hannibal has robbed him of a normal future. As long as Hannibal and Will are in each other’s orbit, Will can never have a functioning relationship with Molly or indeed anyone else. Hannibal will always deny him. It is reminiscent of a scene in series 2 when Will says ‘You don’t want me to have anything in my life that’s not you.’ Hannibal is in love with Will and Will feels some reluctant form of love for Hannibal which I believe to be akin to Stockholm Syndrome and Hannibal uses this to his advantage. He knows that Will will always come back to him. His influence is magnetic and I truly believe that they are destined to be together one way or another.

VIDEO: Living Under Israel’s Missiles
Four boys of the Bakr family were killed by a missile strike during last year’s incursion. Their surviving family members are still scarred from the attack.
More than anyone, children bear the brunt of regular Israeli military assaults on the Gaza Strip. During the 51-day war in the summer of 2014, 551 children were killed and 3,436 were injured. But these gruesome figures say little about the psychological state of the nearly 800,000 children who have survived the periodic bombing campaigns. After the final cease-fire that ended Israel’s Operation Protective Edge on August 26 of last year, UNICEF estimated that at least 425,000 Palestinian children in the besieged Gaza Strip require “immediate psychosocial and child protection support.”
[ The physical wounds of Gaza children might have healed, but they live with enduring psychological trauma ]
And to think the few of them who manage to get away, drown at the sea or end up in concentration camps all over Europe

Henderson studied biology at Chelsea Polytechnic in the mid-1930s. During this time, he practised dissection, studied matter through a microscope and became fascinated by the layered structure of plant and animal tissues. This collage focuses on living organisms and their internal systems and intricate forms.
