It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them.
It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around.
I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives.

We, (Najwa, Jana, Farah, and Maryam), are the sisters of Shaheed Khalid Saed Ash-Shawwah, who was martyred on 07/31/24 along with Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and his colleague, photographer Rami Al-Rifi . Khalid was our older and only brother and he was a great support for us and others. As you may heard Khalidโs story in the news, he was bombed while he was riding his bicycle coming back from delivering food to our old and injured neighbors.
Before the IDF forces killed our brother Khalid, they forced us to evacuate our house and left everything behind. They then destroyed our house and our fatherโs restaurant. We had to move at least 10 times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.
Currently, the 4 of us and our parents, are living devastating and sad life in a bombed room in Gaza. It is extremely difficult for us to get the basic needs of food, water, and shelter.
We sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. We are raising funds in order to be able to pay the rising cost of basic necessities in north Gaza. Our family is large and the cost of survival in north Gaza is astronomical. If you have anything you can spare, we implore you to support us. From that moment on, we have had to move multiple times within Gaza in a desperate attempt to find a safe place. Unfortunately, each move has exposed us to further attacks, resulting in injuries to me and our children on several occasions. ๐
Since the war began, we have gone from a secure and stable life to a dire situation. We once lived in a stable home with a decent living, but now we have no home or shelter. Every day, we move from place to place, sleeping in streets and ruined houses, searching for something called safety, even though it doesnโt truly exist. ๐๏ธ๐
The pain and loss we have endured since the start of the war are indescribable. We have lost my parents, three of my siblings, their spouses, and their children. My husband has also lost his parents, siblings, and their families. With our home destroyed and my husband losing his job due to the war, our situation has become unbearable. ๐ข๐
The children, who are our hope and future, are suffering greatly under these conditions. They have lost the most basic rights, such as education, as they can no longer attend school. They are also deprived of the essential medical care they need during these difficult times. They have no security or home to turn to, leaving them in a constant state of anxiety and instability. ๐ธ๐
The cost to leave Gaza is $5,000 for adults and $2,500 for children, in addition to other living expenses that we cannot afford. ๐ต
We appeal to you with humility and a plea for your kind hearts. We urgently need your support to cover the travel costs and secure a safe future for our children. Every donation, no matter how small, will be a beacon of hope in these dark times. ๐๐
