This is a great post what makes it even better is that most of these you can get from Ninite which will download and install the latest versions of all available software ALL AT ONCE without you having to worry about adware or the annoying clutter (toolbars, changing your default search engine) that sometimes comes with their individual installers. I’ll add one more to this:  Winderstat If you’re like me and constantly running low on space because you are never deleting old files and have no clue what is taking up all of your space then this is for you. It scans your hard drive and shows you which files are taking up space, what kind of file they are, and where they are located so you can easily take care of them.

Here’s a free video editor, as well; I’ve never done any video editing so I can speak on if it’s any good, but here it is regardless. It’s called Kdenlive and it’s a project of the same people who made the above Krita.

And obviously there’s always the option of ditching Windows altogether and using Linux :^)

I support people doing whatever (whomever?) they want however I don’t think that polyamory is inherently revolutionary / anti-patriarchy / incapable of creating abusive situations or whatever discourse the weirdos on here are cooking up these days. it has its own pecularities / upsides & downsides for different people just as monogamy does.

& “monogamy culture” definitely isn’t a thing lmfao, to the extent that such an expectation exists it’s contained w/in heteropatriarchy & not a separate force. I’m wary of people who use that kind of rhetoric in order to deflect criticism in cases when (& this certainly isn’t all of them) people, esp. women, are manipulated into situations that they’re not comfortable w/ and so this basically becomes the trendy new way to have harems

Like it’s just a fact of reality that men in general already provide little in relationships when it comes to emotional and domestic labor. Of course there’s exceptions but as it stands, that’s just the standard. So seeing regular schmucks with 0 emotional intelligence advocate for polyamory as if it’s some “enlightened” relationship model by default really just sounds like a roundabout way for them to circumvent the inconvenience of female “jealousy” and “neediness” (read: longing for emotional intimacy and validation in an unfulfilling and one-sided relationship).

Also the whole “well actually sweetie it’s just against human nature to be monogamous, you only feel jealousy because you’re brainwashed by ~the patriarchy~ to feel insecure and possessive with your partner!” argument that I keep seeing them bring up is just manipulative on its face. And I won’t even get into the evo-psych bullshit I’ve seen floating around in those circles. OR the fetishization of bi women.
