Sometimes to differentiate you have to innovate and dig a little deeper. A buddy wanted a #NLWhalers theme, but with a green sole they resembled #SVSM too much and he isn't a #lebronjames fan. So I textured #GoldLeaf with some decay to mimic the surface of melted gold. This is because the original New London Whalers hunted Sperm Whales for something Spermaceti aka Whale Gold or Floating Gold, essentially the Liquid Gold of the whaling industry. This pic has #nofilter and was apppropriately taken in the light of the Rising Sun, which is also the name of the fisrt recorded Whaling vessel to leave New London in search of Whale Gold.
