Is there a japanese equivalent to the "one two three wheee!" thing parents of small children will sometimes do when walking? If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's where a small child holds the hands of two adults and gets swung into the air every three steps.

Yes, it's the same in Japanese! I asked my husband if there's a name for it but he doesn't know it if there is.
Either "sei no" (something like "get ready" often used to prepare a child or other person to get ready to do something) and then "whee" or "ichi ni no san" (one two and three) and then "whee". Or maybe closer to a squeal or "yay" in Japanese.
Parent's Note: It's not recommended anymore by paediatricians because of the chance for injury related to lifting children by the arms, but I know there are parents who still do it.
I googled the name but only came up with the description: 手を繋いでジャンプしながら歩く Holding hands and jumping while walking

It is a annual vine plant and produces yellow flowers about two centimeters in diameter that bloom at this time of year. The flowers of the family Fabaceae are usually butterfly-shaped and symmetrical, but that of Yabutsuruazuki is twisted, making its shape difficult to check. As such, its flower language is "Perverseness".

It is commonly found on the plains and low mountains. Its length is a little over five centimeters and the type with a different color is called 麦藁蜻蛉[Mugiwaratonbo](Wheat straw dragonfly). The one in the photo is a male. A similar species, 大塩辛蜻蛉[Ooshiokaratonbo](O. melania melania), is slightly larger, has black wing bases on both males and females, and dark brown or black eyes. 大[Oo] means large.

立[Tate] : 立てる[Tateru], to stand up, to erect
羽[Ha] : Wing
立羽 is 立羽蝶[Tatehachō], which means Brush-footed butterfly(Nymphalinae). Tateha is so named because it folds its wings and puts them up when perching on something. The length of the forewings is about three centimeters, and it is a common species. 蝶 means butterfly. It is 野紺菊[Nokongiku](Aster microcephalus var. ovatus) that Kitateha is perching on.

How To Use ところ
1. 駅に着いたところで、電車が出発しました。
"Just as I arrived at the station, the train departed."
2. 宿題をしているところです。
"I'm in the middle of doing my homework."
3. お腹がすいたところに、友達から食べ物の差し入れがありました。
"Just when I was hungry, my friend brought me some food."
4. 映画を見終わったところで、雨が降り始めました。
"Just after finishing the movie, it started to rain."
5. 電話をかけようとしたところで、バッテリーが切れてしまいました。
"Just as I was about to make a phone call, my battery died."
1. Indicating a Point in Time or Action:
"ところ" can indicate a specific point in time or action. It's often used with verbs in the present tense, present progressive form (-ている) to express an ongoing action; or past tense to indicate you have just finished doing something.
1a. Verb stem + ところ indicates you are about to do the action, you are going to start the action.
• 今から勉強するところです。"I'm about to study now "
1b. Verb present progressive form + ところ indicates you are in the midst of doing the action. You are currently doing the action.
• 彼は料理を作っているところです。 "He is in the middle of cooking."
1c. Verb past tense + ところ indicates you have finished the action; the action is completed.
• ちょうど帰って来たところです。"I just got home."
• 彼女はお風呂から出たところです。 "She has just come out of the bath."
2. Indicating Circumstances or Situations:
"ところ" can also describe the circumstances or situation surrounding an action or event.
• 電車に乗るところで、友達に会いました。 "I met my friend while I was about to board the train."
3. Indicating a Close Call or Coincidence: Verb stem + ところ (だった / でした) can express a situation where something narrowly almost happened or coincidentally occurred.
• 遅れるところでしたが、間に合いました。 "I almost arrived late, but I made it in time."
4. Expressing Inevitability:
In some cases, "ところ" can convey a sense of inevitability or expectation regarding an action or event.
• 彼はいつか成功するところだ。 "He is bound to succeed someday."
5. Indicating a Specific Place or Location: While less common, "ところ" can also mean "place" or "location" when used in specific contexts.
• ここは賑やかなところです。 "This place is lively."
6. Expressing Emotional States:
In colloquial language, "ところ" can sometimes be used to express one's emotional state or feelings.
• びっくりしたところです。 "I was surprised."
薬師草[Yakushisō] Crepidiastrum denticulatum
It grows in sunny locations such as forest edges, often exceeds one meter in height. It produces flowers that resemble those of 岩苦菜[Iwanigana](Ixeris stolonifera) and 大地縛[Oojishibari](Ixeris japonica) in late autumn. Yellow stands out, so when it blooms in clusters, the forest appears brighter underneath under a clear sky.
It is not limited to daylight. As the air becomes clearer in the colder months, white and yellow flowers illuminated by moonlight appear to float vaguely in the darkness. As an aside, for a while to come, I like to take walks in nature at night, relying only on the moonlight.
薬師 means 薬師如来[Yakushi nyorai](Bhaisajya-guru, healing Buddha). By the way, the three sculptures called 薬師三尊像[Yakushi sanzon zō] have Yakushi nyorai seated in the center with 日光菩薩[Nikkō bosatsu] and 月光菩薩[Gakkō bosatsu] standing respectively on the side. 三尊 means Buddha triad, 菩薩[Bosatsu] means Bodhisattvas, 日光 means sun light, 月光 means moon light. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Treasures_of_Japan_(sculptures)
