//My birthday is several days before Halloween, it's on the 28th.//
"SARU, do you bring any decorations along besides just the candy? I know Halloween is a time away but we are going have to dec--" she said before the stray cat rubbed her leg and purred as she continued, "..SARU, who is this?"
"So it's October? Time surely goes by quickly doesn't it?"
//Hey guys. Ah, I know I'm late but I'm back from hiatus.//
“Look at yourself!" she replied as she placed her hands on her hips. "It’s serious because you are succumbing to your own past and this is what I don’t want to see from anyone ESPECIALLY when I was hoping to only sit back and be with my roommates after being alone for several days,”
; “Go away, Meia.”
The tone that entered his voice was defensive and dark, scarily so, pushing hard on his own heart at the bitterness and coldness that entered his tone. He was fine, of course he was, he didn’t need anyone’s help - then why was he laughing, again? He cut himself off, but the damage had been done, throwing his mind into a more disheveled state than before.
Still quite shaken, the boy took a few deep breaths, steadying himself, his shaking fading to occasional twitches as the look in his eyes became a bit more clear. What was he doing? Who knew if any of that was real, anyway?
"What I meant to say is, I’m alright."
Meia didn't want to see SARU suffer but it almost felt like he needed some time alone judging by the tone of his voice.
However, part of her doesn't want to leave him to suffer but she had to respect SARU's wishes..as a friend..
Before long, she replied,"I understand and I apologize if I was too harsh on you. However, if you wish to talk to me again, I'll be in the other room,"
..and just like that, she turned herself around and left the room.
"..hmm, I wonder what's going on..I hear mewing from somewhere,"
“I’m not convinced. You are letting yourself get out of hand. What do you think I feel about the same thing? Hmm?” she replied now more sternly. “All I’m trying to do is help and you’re only pushing me aside as it’s no big issue. I’m sorry if this angers you Saru but hiding something as serious as this from your roommates, especially your friends, isn’t healthy. It will only continue to build on you and become a hindrance down the road,”
; A brazen laugh tumbled out of SARU’s lips, then, filling the space between them with a wild insanity that flared in his eyes for the barest hint of a moment.
Once he had started laughing, it seemed as if he couldn’t stop - although there was nothing funny about the blood trickling onto his shirt, nothing funny about Meia’s words, nothing funny about all the things he had done, absolutely nothing at all.
In-between breaths - “This isn’t funny-” and then another laugh.
When it seemed that he had finally settled down, somewhat, his lip still bleeding and raw, he looked to the purple haired girl across from him again.
"What do you mean, ‘as serious as this’? I’m not hiding. I don’t hide.”
The bitter tone on his lips was definitely not his and yet it was completely him, every syllable drenched in venom.
"Look at yourself!" she replied as she placed her hands on her hips. "It's serious because you are succumbing to your own past and this is what I don't want to see from anyone ESPECIALLY when I was hoping to only sit back and be with my roommates after being alone for several days,"
“SARU! What—?” she asked before she noticed blood on his lips. “Oh my gosh! You’re bleeding! What have you been in? In fact, what have you been doing?!”
Now she was really concerned, about to get first aid to the boy; this looks BAD.
; “I just bit my lip!” he muttered crossly, an irritated but clearly commanding tone entering his tone.
"I haven’t done - done anything!"
Honestly, what did she think he would do? He had only accidentally - purposely - bit his lip. His body was still shaking; he took a deep breath to steady himself, to anchor himself.
"I’m fine, Meia."
"I'm not convinced. You are letting yourself get out of hand. What do you think I feel about the same thing? Hmm?" she replied now more sternly. "All I'm trying to do is help and you're only pushing me aside as it's no big issue. I'm sorry if this angers you Saru but hiding something as serious as this from your roommates, especially your friends, isn't healthy. It will only continue to build on you and become a hindrance down the road,"
"If only Saru would stop hiding things..I only want to help him and so does Fei. We're in this together and nothing is going to get done if it's not resolved,"
"I didn’t. I wanted to wait for you and Fei to return," she replied as she knitted her eyebrow.
Uh, uh. SARU looks close to cracking.. this doesn’t look good. The memories must be getting to him, however whatever SARU does, she had to protect him from self harm.
; “Oh.”
That was all he could muster without saying from sort wild phrase - obviously he was bothered about what Meia would know about him and what he was fast learning about himself. Shit. Shit.
He bit down on his lip, hard, trying to stop his body from shaking. He hadn’t reacted this badly earlier; why was he panicking? A sharp gasp escaped Feida’s leader’s lips when the taste of metal entered his mouth.
He raised a hand to his lips, wiping the offending blood away and effectively staining his white gloves.
"SARU! What--?" she asked before she noticed blood on his lips. "Oh my gosh! You're bleeding! What have you been in? In fact, what have you been doing?!"
Now she was really concerned, about to get first aid to the boy; this looks BAD.
Of course the female would remember SARU had it not been for the memories. She remembered the time that she was with him- in the war with the other Second Stage Children. They had powers, soccer matches and other sorts of activities going on.
It was crazy like it was all a dream..
”..I was wanting to see if you were okay,” she said. “I can’t help but to worry on what would happen and I wanted to be there for you..”
; “Of course I’m fine,” he spoke, his voice cracking and raising to a feverish pitch. A brazen laugh slipped softly through his lips as he remembered the events of the past few days, the memories, of violence and guns and the stench of death as the threat of his own death loomed over him.
"Why wouldn’t I be?"
Why was she asking this so calmly?
His hand at his side curled into a fist - had he not been wearing gloves, he would’ve cut gashes into his hand with his tight grip. HIs other hand rose subconsciously to his mouth, fingers curling over his lower lip as a shaky look entered his eyes.
"Did you open the package?" he asked quickly, voice still at a feverish pitch, speaking if only to change the subject.
"I didn't. I wanted to wait for you and Fei to return," she replied as she knitted her eyebrow.
Uh, uh. SARU looks close to cracking.. this doesn't look good. The memories must be getting to him, however whatever SARU does, she had to protect him from self harm.
"Well now, it’s about time you two showed up. Though you should really thank me for cleaning up the apartment," she giggled a bit before she looked to the neatly wrapped present on the counter.
"Oh and there’s a package to us. I’m still trying to figure out who sent it over. It can be anyone around these apartments..though that’s the least of the worries. There has been strange abnormalities around the city as of recently..it’s odd,"
; SARU had remained relatively quiet while she had spoke, offering the barest hint of a smirk or incline of his head in acknowledgement of her words. However, when she mentioned the abnormalities, his face paled at an alarming rate, and his expression shifted, looking rather serious - and more than a little afraid.
"I’m well aware of the…abnormalities, so to speak," the teenager spoke, struggling to keep his voice calm.
"Believe me, I’ve experienced my fair share."
The more he “remembered” the more he wanted to forget - everything pointed to him having been, being, a terrible person. Shellbit Burst danced across his fingertips whenever he dribbled a soccer ball, and lately he’d had more bursts of those psychic powers. All in all, it was -
Shit.
A look of fearful realization spread across SARU’s face. In all of those “memories” that he had experienced, he clearly remembered Meia there. But if she had experienced the same thing, would she remember him?
Of course the female would remember SARU had it not been for the memories. She remembered the time that she was with him- in the war with the other Second Stage Children. They had powers, soccer matches and other sorts of activities going on.
It was crazy like it was all a dream..

//Saryuu-mun, fix your askbox. XD'//

//Oh, this is good. Every roommate to Meia is available again. ^_^//
Did you check for a return address?
"I did and there are none. Whoever sent it knew what they are doing all too well and it’s very eerie,"
Who do you think sent the present?
"I don’t know. It was only delivered to our place recently; on top of that, with terms of who or what sent it is another mystery to solve. It’s strange because the mystery sender can be anyone from the other apartments,"
