the thing about Bill Cipher's gender is that people keep pointing to his corner and going "he has a vagina he's transmasc" but that's not necessarily true because the way we determine the sex of animals has nothing to do with genitals and more to do with the size of their gametes like how male seahorses giving birth doesn't make them female it's the fact that they have sperm that makes us classify them as male (of course there are outliers) so really Bill's vagina doesn't tell us shit unless you get in there and find out how euclidians reproduce

There’s a species of Brazilian cave bug where the external sexual organs are swapped. The females mount the males because their gametes are still the same, it’s just an organ inverse. I’m not sure why they did this, but it’s the coolest thing I’ve ever found out about bark lice.

did you know there's a lizard that only has females and they mate to stimulate ovulation? Also male ants can't have sons because fertilized eggs are always female and unfertilized eggs are always male (they can have grandsons though).

I did know about those lizards! There’s actually more than one species. The thing about male ants likely is also true for bees, as ants bees and wasps all belong to the same Order; Hymenoptera. I LOVE NATURE

Let's be honest. I do not want to be called queer for my rejection of traditional gender roles and appearance. Why I should be seen as someone special just by being myself?

I want to be woman in the way that is comfortable for me, why it isn't okay? We've all was born with individiality in our nature and identities

don't know who needs to hear this but gender non-conformity is not only for trans people. cis women can wear binders and packers. cis men can wear breast forms and tuck. cis women can use he/him pronouns and cis men can use she/her pronouns. anyone can use they/them pronouns or neopronouns. anyone can dress fem or masc regardless of gender identity. anyone can take hormones and get surgeries even if it doesn't match the 'normal' presentation for their gender. all the rules about gender are fake and you can do what you want. gender isn't some finite resource. do whatever the fuck makes you comfortable.

I once said something along the lines of "why does everyone assume that every gnc cis man is an egg" and was harassed for it and sarcastically told that obviously the treatment of cis men should be our biggest concern and that I didn't know anything about egg culture (I do). You do realize that gnc people are queer too, right? You realize I can concern myself with "smaller" problems, because I love gnc people and am concerned about their well-being? You realize that telling people they must be trans because of their presentation is just as bad as telling someone must be cis for the same reasons?

I'm never going to shut up about how shitty the queer community treats gender non-conforming people, especially gender non-conforming men.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't know how someone can /appear/ gnc and cis at the same time. Not conforming is visibly queer, and you can't see cis like you can eye color, or skin tone.

yeah, that's also part of it though. people will see someone who physically may be cis passing and automatically assume they know more about this stranger's gender than themself (for example, if a medically transitioned trans man wears a skirt, people who Don't Even Know Him will probably call him a transfem egg. even though he probably tried out being a girl and it didn't work out)
