Like honestly I just needed to separate discourse from my primary blog because it was causing me too much stress. I also use it to reblog trans (positivity) posts without worrying if op is weird haha.
I'm going to keep most of my identity private because I feel like a lot of discourse is tainted by identity politics---that is, "you're x so you can't criticize xyz"---which is fundamentally detrimental to critique/constructive criticism/conversation. I want to see if I can get around that. I'm also just a bit curious about if people will interact with me differently.
Reminder that you are NOT entitled to know ANYTHING about me. I have given you my pronouns for ease. If I valued this blog over ease I would have taken that away too. Yes, I am in the process of reading various transfeminist works, but due to personal reasons it will take me a while.
In an attempt to make my blog as clear as possible, I will be using both transandrophobia and isomisogyny in reference to their original definitions
Transandrophobia: the way that the fear of men impacts the material reality and mental/physical health of transgender men. [here] is the original post.
Isomisogyny: the way misogyny impacts trans men/the intersection between misogyny and transphobia specific to trans men
ALL MY POSTS ARE GENUINE. I allow genuine and kind discussion ONLY. If you insult, infantilize, condescend, or reply sarcastically to me the conversation is over. I try my best to word my posts as clearly and respectfully as possible. If I see that I have made a mistake or misunderstood something, I will try to correct it. Thank you.
