hi welcome back to my mind prison
Everyone participating in the Grand Festival don't be a fool like me and stretch between matches. Bringing this back as a PSA
I should print this and hang it on my walls
As a percussionist, this stuff can really help! I do these kinds of stretches before and after long practice sessions
It can also help to pay attention to how much tension is building in your wrists/fingers/shoulders while playing! Shifting between tension and release while aiming is part of the technique, but minimizing tension is a MUST. It shouldn't be your default state, it should be something you swiftly move in and out of.
If you struggle with this, try thinking about it every time you die and making a mental note of what actions cause you to tense up. And don't be harsh on yourself for not getting it 100%. Gaining consistent control of the movement of your body like this is unintuitive, and it often requires unlearning the same bad habits over and over until it becomes engrained, so it's going to take time!
A Percussionist, eh?
That wasn’t on my bingo card, but my golly it should’ve been! You guys rock!

Imagine a 2 season show in a world like Harry Potter or Wizards of Waverly Place where a regular person start getting wizard mail cuz a wizard entered in the wrong address and instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they take matters into their own hands and try to take the wizard mail away in a stealthy mission every week so they don't get their mind wiped but in the season finale it turns out they were secretly a wizard or already knew about the magical world for whatever reason. And in the next season, they must figure out how to stop the Magical Secret Service Agents from doing what the wizard feared so they end up marrying each other in the series finale.
