#3 “Have I ever told you that you’ve got really pretty eyes?” (Calum)

A/N: Okay so I got the idea for this from @malum-sauce / @untarted (she was texting me and said something about it so I decided to turn it into a piece of writing c:) Also, this probably sucks, forgive me D; -Angelina
“Baaaaabe,” Calum’s voice called out from upstairs.
Instead of yelling back to him, I laughed and paused the show I was watching and made my way up to him. He was standing at the bathroom sink, snow white shaving cream covering the caramel-colored skin on the lower half of his face. He turned to me, his razor in his hand, and pouted.
“I keep messing up. Can you help meeee?” He flashed me a hopeful little smile and I couldn’t help but mirror his actions.
“Calum Hood, the insanely talented bassist needs help shaving his face from little old me?” I teased playfully.
He wrapped his large hands around my waist and lifted me up to sit me on the edge of the bathroom sink, “Oh shush, you and I both know that you love it when I ask you to help me with this,” Calum said before brushing a kiss on my forehead. I smiled and took the razor from his hand.
“Alright, stand in front of me more, like this-” I put my hands on his broad shoulders and positioned him so that he was in between my legs. Then, he took it upon himself to wrap my legs around his waist, bringing him even closer to me.
“This okay?” He gave me a cheeky grin and I nodded.
“Now, no smiling or else I’ll end up messing up. Stay still,” I giggled.
Calum relaxed his face and I began to smooth the razor along his skin. It was almost magic, the way the white disappeared with each stroke of the blades. His face was my canvas and I was the artist.
He was right, I did love when he asked me to help him shave. I loved feeling how silky his skin got after I was done. I loved secretly stealing glances at his perfect, plump lips that somehow always ended up slightly parted, causing him to breathe lightly through his mouth.
He reaches a hand up and places it on the side of my face gently, “Y/N?” He lightly asks. “Have I ever told you that you’ve got really pretty eyes?”
I could feel myself blushing at his sweet words, “I’m sure you’ve told me before, Cal. Thank you though,” I kissed his nose, “You’re eyes are pretty too.” My awkward nature kicked in. Calum just giggled and used his other hand to hold mine.
“Thanks darling.” He cooed in my ear. Butterflies appeared in my stomach at his use of the nickname. It’s a name he only uses once-in-a-while; his reasoning is that it’s special.
I pressed my lips softly against his, pulling away just as quickly as I started, “I’ve just got a small little area to finish and then you can kiss me all you want.” His eyes crinkled as he laughed. I quickly, but carefully, smoothed the rest of his stubble, wiping a damp cloth over the freshly shaven area to eradicate any left over shaving cream.
Calum looked around me into the mirror, examining the job I did, “It looks amazing babygirl. Thank you.”
He put one arm under my knees and one around my torso and swiftly lifted me off the sink, “Now, how about those kisses we talked about?”
