"Paul Wesley should get award for just being himself." [2/2]
[ She’s exiting the showers, nursing a bad head ache. ]
"There, it’s all yours."
"Are you alright?" He was about to move aside, but then noticed her off mood, so he awaited for her reply.
No--? Whatever gave you that idea?
'Shut up!”
how was drowning in a box all summer
Excuse me? I didn't spend all summer drowning in a box, thank you very much.
I mean, some things can be implied. But fine…guess you’re right; in this situation anyways.
Oh. I guess. But I mean by lying you’re kind of letting someone believe in false hope, and it can be dangerous if that false hope is about themselves or others. But well, I guess that’s true sometimes too. But most of the time I’m more a fan of the truth, even if most people like to hide from it.
We're not cowards for decorating the facts a bit once in awhile. To be honest all the time would be poisonous as well, surely. There's a time and place for everything, but I suppose a drop of veritaserum would solve everything--- if only it were that easy. But alas, it is not.
Right, of course you will. With ease, I’m sure. Ah, the ol’ stress reliever—it’s a strong part of the reason I’m here myself, in fact. [ He grabs his glass, taking a long drink of it before setting it down with an audible sigh of satisfaction. ] Well, what’s causing you stress, then? May as well engage in a bit of idle bar chit-chat while we’re here.
Oh yeah? I've heard that life doesn't necessarily get better after graduation, but I intend to make the most of it. [wags his brows in response too, if only out of amusement.] Stress? Ehm. Not sure if you've heard, but I'm still suspicious as to how a Slytherin student managed to get himself offed, and on Hogwarts, no less. What's gotten you all riled up?
Of course I haven’t forgotten who you are, you twit. I’m only surprised to see you here because I thought you’d be off at that bloody school, buried in your studies so you can graduate on time. Yet, you’re here. A little unexpected, as I’m sure you understand.
Uhhhh--- I can see where you're going with that idea, but no. That... I'll graduate without burying my nose in my books, but thanks for the advice, ol' cap. I'd rather enjoy myself here. Waitress, drink please--- trying to relieve myself of some stress here, you understand.
Possibly. Oh? Well what kind of person did you take me for? What? Cause I’m a bitch or something? Look, I’ve heard it before, alright?
Well sure, but that doesn’t mean you have to outright lie now does it? People define you by your character; if you only know games and trickery to get out of those situation well, that’s how people are going to see you. It’s not all about cheating to get to the top.
...No? I didn't say anything like that. Now you're the one putting words in my mouth, Lisa Turpin.
Er-- I suppose. What I meant was, lying isn't the worst thing in the world, and it doesn't always harm everyone. Perhaps you're protecting them when you do that, or protecting yourself. It's based on the situation.
I have to admit, you’re one of the last people I’d expected to see here at a time like this.
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey, mate. Why would this be of any surprise? It's me, Montague, if you haven't forgotten. While I haven't seen you in a while, it hasn't been that long.
Sure you’re not. Ah, that is true. But even then I’d probably think you found some way to beat it so,eh…still a liar. Really? You’d really think I’d break the rules to get that of all things?
What do you mean? All my thoughts are sunshine and daisies Graham. Please, you shouldn’t care about me enough for me too hurt your feelings, mate. Eh, I’ll try. But sorry you’re just fun to mess with.
Oh is that it? You're a lot more than I bargained for, but I should know better, considering the exchanges we've had always seem to go down this way.
And I don't see why you wouldn't ever need to lie or break rules to get out of a predicament. After all, there's a lot more to it than just being plainly honest when you're in a sticky situation.
Has anyone seen a small black cat? I can’t seem to find her anywhere…
I suppose accio cat wouldn't work. Pity, hey? When's the last you saw of her? I'm sure she's bound to turn up somewhere---
Hello Graham
Hello to you too, Savannah. You've been keeping yourself busy, I've not seen you around lately. How are you?
Hardly.
There hasn’t been a good party in a while has there?
That's clearly a problem. Which only means we ought to throw one before the year's end is here, considering it is my last few weeks of Hogwarts forever.
Yes you. Oh please, anyone who says that is a liar. And do you really want me to think you’re a liar, Graham?
Graham, really? That’s the last think you need or want from me. Besides, now you’re just putting words in my mouth. All I said was today is not the day.
I'm not a liar. But I wouldn't be able to change your mind unless I was under some veritaserum, which we both do not have. Or I would hope not, anyway.
I'm only doing what I need to give some light to this situation, because you're certainly not being the optimistic out of the two of us here, Lisa. Just be a doll, and don't hurt my feelings too much.
