Raja has found out that Vic is a boneless but grabby octopus in her sleep. He can't move his head because she's definitely got hold of at least some of his predlocks and probably won't let go until she wakes.

He also doesn't understand how she can put up with what he suspects is a retrofitted storageroom with a bunk that can only just fit her 6ft frame.

Raja is 8ft.

He has already hit his head 7 times.

(Not set on earth- rather the place they both met where she's part of the ambassadorial team who are in placement.)

ok so i was thinking abt the nightbrothers again. so assuming that their horns are actually antlers they could theoretically carve them without it hurting, and the carvings would stay until the horns fell off and new ones grew in. like this:

i just love the idea of carvings having particular meanings and its so sweet to imagine icarus and scorn doing each others horn carvings or convincing maul to let them do his. they could even theoretically drill holes in the horns and have permanent jewelry/piercings. so many possibilities!
