Lets just say my pain tolerance is higher than most. But I’m sure she probably gave it a valiant effort. And I don’t know I think its more sitting still while someone inflicts pain on me. Like im fine with pain, and I’m fine with needles but like not being able to move while it happens just seems like pure torture to me. Endurable torture but still torture never the less.
You’ll have to ask her that. At least that torture has a decent outcome. I grew up being taught that I wasn’t supposed to like tattoos, though I can’t imagine why, they’re very pretty when done correctly. Though my granddaughter got hers for a selfish reason-- but that’s another matter entirely. You should get your tattoos, and flip the bird at any old people who think otherwise.
quinnmann:
Because religions wanted to compete with pagan holidays. So they just put them all during the winter solstice. So I’ve read I mean.
Bah, everything is a money grab these days. Back when I was young, people had feelings in special days of the year.
How important is family to you?
Family is a top priority.
You must never betray your family.
hawaiianhalfwolf:
I know, but I guess I’ll have to manage sitting there for as long as I can. And three tattoos? Wait. Is your great-granddaughter’s name um…. [user looks up profile of the girl he has been talking to] Blanche? I don’t think I’ll be getting any more besides this one though for a while.
I bet you’ll do just fine-- I’m sure you pain tolerance is higher than hers anyway. Are you turned off from them because of the pain or the needle, which sounds the same, but it really is quite the difference!
I never understood why the world chooses to group all major holidays in the span of 3 months-- now the beginning of the new year is going to be awfully boring until St. Patrick’s Day.
Probably going to have to sit the whole day today at the tattoo parlor, so if you’re in the area feel free to stop on by and distract me! No really please stop because there will be needles constantly stabbing into me and I might go crazy if someone doesn’t keep my attention elsewhere.
Oof, how exciting! My great-granddaughter has three of the damn things, but I can hardly imagine having to sit there all day!
Person: are you ok?
Me: I’m fine
*inside my head*: how do ghosts work in Harry Potter? Like, when they died, how can they carry objects? How can the Bloody Baron wear chains? Will they be stuck in the clothes they died in forever? How do the Headless Hunt ride horses? Did they die on the horse? Did the horse die with them? Can they leave Hogwarts and go haunt some other building? Can they apply for jobs? Professor Binns can teach so surely another ghost could go work at the ministry? Why do they just mope around the castle when they could go and explore the world? They can feel emotion, but can they feel it when they walk through someone? The person they walk through feels like their in icy water, but do the ghosts feel warm?

It’s an expression used to relate to onesself. I mean, I probably agree, popular media rarely gets depictions of the supernatural correct, but that’s a little…different.
It’s outrageous. And to think she’s one of the richest women in the world.
themoral-dilemma:
You were “personally” offended?
It’s merely an expression, but they were just so unrealistic. Nearly Headless Nick my left foot.
themoral-dilemma:\
Harry who?
I personally was offended by their portrayal of ghosts.

professor-exorcist:
[pm] Oooooh, scary. A wannabe poltergeist threatening the ancient demonic entity exorcist. Smart move there, Granny.
[pm] Don’t play coy with me. My granddaughter so kindly informed me of what was going on. You will not hurt a hair on my grandaughter’s head. I can and will ruin Rebecca’s life and it will be especially easy if she isn’t the one in control
