trying to write an au fic for the lovely, wonderful garsantos. (ignoring the events in recent eps :cries:)
im not good at writing dialogue or fics in general. prob because ive been forced to write essays all year long.
anyhow. im just gonna ramble about it bc i need a place to put my silly stupid ideas. (i am an one-shot angst writer, i eat angst for breakfast, lunch and dinner. hurt/no comfort is my comfort. multi-chapter fics scare me but fuck it we ball.)
university student trinity 19 yo (took gap year to save up enough money) with a part-time job as at a gas station's convenience store "pit stop mart" (12pm-6am night shift)
grew up in a crappy foster home under an organization called "a second chance"
born in braddock, lived in filipino household.
both parents died from flash floods, making trinity have a fear of rain.
was awarded an entrance scholarship of $3,000 (flight from braddock to uni of pitts is $1,036)
actually has pretty high grades (in the 90s) bc of her great work ethic (due to maturing early, not a compliment)
deals with shitty customers in the middle of the night but has to suck it up and use her customer service voice bc she cannot lose her job.
lives in her old, scratched-up red toyota that's on the verge of breaking down. (she'd never have enough money to fix it if it did.)
the lowest of lows when her car doesn't start on her first day of pre-med uni classes, she has to walk to school because she can't afford to spend money on an the bus fare, let alone an uber.
causing her to be late to her first classes which are biol 1080, biological concepts of health and phys 1080, physics for life sciences. taught by the same professor, lucky her.
professor garcia teaches both biol and phys 1080 (woah, what a surprise.)
known to be a harsh marker and will clock your shit. does not tolerate tardiness.
makes trinity's life a living hell in the first week or two bc she thinks she's just another student who doesn't give a shit about being late/thinks she's too good for class or some misunderstanding-
la dee la dee dah somehow finds out she's sleeping in her car and working the night shift at a convenience store close to campus and offers her a place at her house bc she has a spare guest room.
