Wow my internet went out and it took a week or something to come back. Here's a bit more Parappa merch, I have more though I just remembered I don't have it with me, but I bought these not too long ago. The plush is kinda old but the hoodie & shirt are recent, 2024 I think.
Nina went on a smoke break, then all these freaks showed up.
Posting this a few hours before the Digital Circus finale officially drops on YouTube. I was legitimately going to release this earlier in the month but shit kept getting in the way, taking time away from the art.
Unrelated, but I enjoyed that Among Us show that was released recently, I should make art about that, it probably won't take a million years to make. AND RAYMAN LEGENDS IS GETTING A REMAKE AND THEY'RE RE-RELEASING ORIGINS IT FEELS LIKE THERE'S SO MUCH I'M EXCITED ABOUT THIS YEAR
Might as well post these images of PJ since I have him too. I wish they made some type of doll like this for Katy, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist in any official capacity. I remember Parappa merch being made as recently as 2025. Not sure if they're still making it now but someone's buying enough of it for them to continue selling things.
They'd make more stuff like this if there was enough demand, and that would be possible if enough focus was but back on the franchise in some way, like giving him a cameo in a popular franchise akin to Starfox being in the Mario Galaxy movie, or making more content for him and having a big marketing push. It wouldn't be too difficult for this franchise to gain more notoriety, and I feel like it still has a lot of potential

I have fanart on the way but it's taking longer than expected to finish, so I'm posting more photos of merchandise in the meantime. I'll be showing off some Parappa The Rapper stuff since it's a niche franchise that I really enjoy.
A crossover between 4 characters who have similar color schemes and share a fashion sense, based on the Mod subculture of the 1960s. I was also gonna draw them swapping clothes with each other and wearing each other's outfits, but that's something else I can draw later since I didn't feeling like doing it at the moment. I wouldn't mind seeing someone else draw that, however
i don't know if this counts as an unpopular opinion but i think the (hi hi puffy amiyumi) world tour dolls are a little underappreciated
ive seen a lot of people in the fashion doll collecting space who have these either rebody them or consider rebodying them because they're "weird" and "gimmicky" (also it seems a lot of more recent HHPAY fans don't like them either which is fair because these are the only toys made for the show based on AND VOICED BY the real life people rather than being based off the characters in the show like 99% of the other merch) but honestly i think they have their good points!
for context (of sorts) and for starters, their hands have magnets on them which allow them to talk + sing when their hands touch or if you touch their hands individually with your finger, which is super cool in general
their packaging is neat because at first glance just seeing the packages on their own they appear "flipped"; however if you connect them together like the image above it makes more sense
their fashions are also very neat i think (very distinct and fun, and the hats with the hair braids are an interesting choice)
the way their arms are posed and the way they did the knee articulation is probably part of why a good few people are "turned off" by them but honestly i don't mind it that much because i guess it kinda adds to the appeal somehow
there's not a lot of footage of them talking either but this and a couple other videos (here - ami's batteries must be dead 'cus i don't hear her speaking? - and here - i really like this footage for some reason for a couple of reasons and i think it's why i'm most interested in Ami's doll - ) was all i could find (i'm thinking of getting them because of course i want to)
also fun fact, i originally considered getting the more widely known Rock Out toys but of course i didn't because they were reportedly only sold in the UK (and also i couldn't find them anywhere when i got into these like a month ago sdfvsxcszx - so i decided to settle for the world tour dolls and now here we are
and fun fact number 2, a few years earlier Takara Tomy released Jenny dolls of them in Japan in the late 90s early 2000s. those are pretty cool too (and articulated!). one of the sets of them appears in their music video for Mother (here).
tldr: the puffy amiyumi world tour dolls are very interesting to my neurodivergent brain at the moment

not that i want to force one to be interested, mind you. i just think these dolls in particular are UNDER-appreciated (even IN the context of merch for the show they were meant to be promoted for)

The NiGHTS into Dreams/TADC crossover I've been working on is finally done. I imagine the abstractions as Nightmariens, & Queenie would've been a Mepian if I added her. If you don't know what those words mean look them up
A redesign for a character I created, Cindy Baker the clown. Mostly changed the shape of her face. The rest of her body/clothes are similar, though I also modified them slightly. Her body's made of dough, so I originally wanted her face to look more lumpy, but I thought it looked weird so I gave her a more noticeable face shape, & changed everything about her head.
These are drawings from you can find on my Tumblr from a while back. She used to have a jellybean nose, but not long afterwards I changed it to a gumball
I plan to incorporate the entire TADC cast in this drawing, but I liked this mix of NiGHTS' & Pomni's design so much I wanted to share it.
I didn't realize how early Hilda got merchandise like this. I first saw it a few years ago, when most people found out about the series because of the Netflix show, & I thought it was new merch made as a throwback to the older style of the comics. I forgot how long Hilda's been around
This is a bit of a coincidence too, since it released in 2013 that makes the figure 13 years old in 2026
I loved the premiere for episode 8 of TADC, can't wait for all the theory videos until episode 9 comes out, and I can't wait for this description to become outdated in 3 months
I really love Little Big Planet, though I haven't shown it very much. I grew up playing the series with my family way back since the 1st game in 2008, and I've spent HOURS playing all the console releases (mostly the main 3 games, only a little bit of Karting & Sackboy's Big Adventure) or watching LBP Movies people uploaded on YouTube.
I have save data from playing on my dad's account back on the PS3, so since the data transfers across games I still have outfits & stuff from LBP 1 in LBP 3. It's actually one of my most played gaming franchises, and the only entry I never experienced was the PSP game.
I know LBP 3 by Sumo Digital is controversial among fans, but it's my favorite entry in the series. Even with all the times the game crashed...
Thankfully, the figure inside is still in good condition, but the box has been messed up due to all the moving I've been doing. It used to look nicer than that, but improper storage ruined the outside of it
I don't have Yumi, only Ami. I managed to get this a few years ago, and figured I would post some pictures of it since I don't think most people have seen it before. The last time I posted a picture of physical objects was on a post with Ruby Gloom in 2024, but unlike that post this doesn't have any art to accompany it, though this gave me an idea for some fanart.
I love Ami's design, reminiscent of the 1970s with the colors, accessories, and boots, plus the floating buns on her head are an interesting style choice that can't be captured as well in physical form, but still look perfectly fine even when they're not floating
More SEGA themed TADC art coming later.
And here's the back of the paper. The marker makes the outlines look like their silhouette, I thought that was cool.
