01/11/1968 Silver Dollar Fair

A great little show from ‘68. The band opens things up with a particularly mellow Dark Star which showcases some excellent shredding from Jerry on the second half.  A short segue from Cryptical Envelopment gives way to one HELLA jammed out The Other One which then transfers back into a full Cryptical Envelopment. From there the band leads us into a brief New Potato Caboose into what I would consider the real standout of this show, the Caution (Do Not Step On Tracks) jam which flows into an amazing spaced out Feedback session. As we fade back into reality, the band bids us Goodnight and Bobby tries to recruit some new roadies.
