Hi, I'm Drew!! I'm trans and gay. I'm an aspiring author :3

Linux things

I daily drive CachyOS with KDE Plasma on my PC. The terminal I use everywhere is Kitty.

My laptop uses CachyOS with Niri and the reccomended complimentary software to go with Niri except Waybar and Alacritty.

I also have an Arch installation on my PC’s secondary drive with Niri and the reccomended complimentary software to go with Niri except Waybar and Alacritty, with plans of setting up a custom quickshell.

I made an oopsie and accidentally fell into the Arch ego trap but I’m trying not to be that guy. It doesn’t help that I have a history with falling into ego traps (cough elementary school chorus) despite having very low self esteem for a very long time.

Genuinely annoys me when everyone around me keeps using he/him pronouns for Pyrois when they have been referred to with they/them pronouns consistently in-game. Pyrois uses they/them pronouns guys, stop calling them a he.

I use dude gender neutrally and I’ll stop if someone asks me, but it sounds like this guy isn’t really meaning it gender neutrally and is just misgendering you. It’s really not that hard to respect people and the people who would double down on calling someone something after being asked not to are absolutely horrid to interact with (speaking from trans the other way). I’m sorry people keep misgendering you, you deserve to be acknowledged and respected.

Is it weird that I am all for tranfemming fictional men unless I am attracted to the fictional man and then I find transfemming him uncomfortable?

It's nuts how common it is to not allow children to be angry, even (especially) in households where adults are angry all the time. As a child I knew my own anger was unacceptable--not just expressing it outwardly but feeling it at all. So now as an adult my immediate reaction to my own anger is often to feel guilt instead of like. Noticing when someone is being rude or unfair or my boundaries are being violated or whatever. fucked up.

I used to get angry really easily and start yelling at people and I kept just being told not to do it and to ignore them and getting sent to in school suspension, I never actually spoke to a professional about it. I stopped getting in trouble for yelling at people because I stopped talking to people because I was bullied for getting angry so easily. I also do genuinely think I got it from my dad, but I don’t think he’d see it that way.

I’m not unaware. I know I’m a monster and all I’m good at is hurting people. That’s why no one ever wants to talk to me anymore.

I’m going to sleep instead of scrolling Tumblr for another hour. I reccomend the same for anyone who has been putting off sleep to scroll Tumblr. Maybe if I’m lucky I’ll dream of a hot man. Maybe that mercenary guy who I had like a weird long-distance sensing connection with and texted me asking if I was alright after it had been cut off by that evil building.
