I just realized I can make Fami (Transfem Ness) way more prominent in the Starlight AU by shifting things around in Switch’s backstory. It also changes Kill Switch’s origin in a way that ends up making his character motivations a lot clearer.

- When Switch first discovered Multiversal travel as a kid and landed in the Mega Man Universe, he was captured by the Emerald Spears who experimented on him to try to turn him into a weapon against the robot masters. Roll rescues him and teaches him some combat tricks, explaining his loyalty towards her and his preference for robots over humans in the Mega Man Universes. The torturous experiments also are what cause Kill Switch to start forming and the reason why he only ever scientifically experiments on himself instead of others

- Star meeting a new psychic kid would immediately recognize “oh like those guys I met in Smash!” And introduce him to Ness* only to find out she also transitioned and changed her name. Meeting Fami also explains how Switch was able to develop his psychic powers so much further than normal. (Also if he came into contact with Giygas’s hate plague while visiting Fami’s world, it could’ve stayed dormant in his system for years, also contributing to Kill Switch’s development

- The two pieces of the puzzle with learning Sky and Xeno’s dark magic remain the same

- Kill Switch could first be brought out during the GBoaT x Starlight crossover when the two Wily’s capture GBoaT Roll. Switch gets mad and unleashes its new form, quickly ending the battle, only to find out that Kill Switch has a mind of its own. He thinks the only reason things got so far here and the only reason he and his friends had to suffer was because they had been holding back all this time. He intends to unleash the world’s potential by using his powers to rebuild it in his chaotic image. Now everyone has to team up to get back to Switch. Kill Switch’s arc can then continue as normal in the void, secretly developing a way to get himself a separate body (in between Reality Girl separating him and Switch reabsorbing him, which will come into play after they leave the void)

- While maintaining some of Switch’s morals, not liking to kill his enemies, Kill Switch isn’t above experimenting on others like Switch is, due to the “not holding back” thing, as seen when GQ came into contact with a rift in the void

Kids books is probably not the best way to word it, you can enjoy them at every age, including your childhood, as you get older you may find new truths in them, but they're still good for any age.

I want you to understand this. I NEED you to understand this. My mother read me the hobbit as bedtime story, and I started pushing myself to read before pre-school so I could in fact read the hobbit for myself instead of having to wait for bedtime.

I didn't do so right away but jesus wept I PUSHED myself to learn to read SPECIFICALLY so I could read The Hobbit! It is, in fact, a children's story! And children only see page count as 'there is a lot of this fun story to read!'
