It was New Years Eve, Two-bit was taking his sister with him to the Curtis household for their annual party. As Two-bit put on his coat on, he sat down and waited for his sister. Two-bit hated doing this as she always took forever to get ready. While waiting, Two-bit couldnāt help but think what Darry was up to. He had to admit that he did feel something for Darry. Heās always have. But after the death of the Curtisā parents, it never felt like a good time to tell Darry about his feelings.
āFuck feeling things.ā Two-bit muttered to himself.
āWhatcha say?ā Cece, his little sister, questioned.
āHm? Oh nothing. Everythingās fine Cece.ā He responded.
āAlright. Iām ready to go.ā Two-bit nodded and got up from where he was sitting. And with that, both Two-bit and Cece started heading over to the Curtisā household. For little while, both walked in silence, keeping their thoughts to themselves. But suddenly Cece spoke up.
āSo, whatās ya New Years revolution going to be?ā She asked. Of course Two-bit already knew.
āTell a certain someone my feelings for them.ā Two-bit responded. Cece decided to giggle and make a big deal outta nothing. Causing Two-bitās face to turn a shade darker. āYeah yeah whatever. Just donāt tell them for me, okay?ā Two-bit asked. Soon followed with Cece rapidly. Two-bit chuckled to himself and smiled. But before he knew it, he and his little sister weāre at the Curtis household waiting for someone to answer the door. And low and behold, it was Darrel Curtis himself who opened the door.
āOh hey Two-bit,ā Darry said before turning to Cece āand hello to you too Lil-bit.ā Letting them both enter the house.
āHow come barely anyone is here??ā Cece questioned.
āWell you guys did arrive here a little early.ā Darry said playfully glaring at Two-bit who merely shrugged before speaking.
āYou know how girls are and getting ready for just about anything.ā Two-bit laughed as he was attacked by his sister. Who dawned about a storm of hits on to Two-bit.
āAlright alright!! I give. I give.ā Two-bit said as Cece stopped. āI just thought we should come and help prepare for the party.ā Cece nodded in agreement.
āHeh, alright. Two you help me in the kitchen, and Cece, you go find Soda and help him with decorations.ā Cece nodded and went off to find Soda and Two-bit and Darry alone. Both headed into the kitchen to cook.
āSo, Two-bit,ā Darry started after sometime of silence between the two. āHow has things been going for your family?ā
āThings have been going goodoo.ā Two-bit responded. Trying to act casual. āAnyways, whatās your New Yearās revolution?ā Two-bit asked.
āYou know, the same old same old. Try and get more sleep and loosen up a bit.ā Darry responded.
āYou? Loosen up?ā Two-bit raised an eyebrow to this. Darry could do many things. But relaxing wasnāt one of them.
āI can too!!ā Darry huffed.
āSuuurrreee. And I could totally tell you to your face a I love you.ā Two-bitās eyes went wide in horror as he realized what we said. He felt himself freeze in fear. Covering his mouth in disbelief of what he said.
āBut I really said it. Oh God. Heās gonna hate me for good.ā And without a second thought Two-bit ran out of the house. But didnāt even make it out the kitchen before he was grabbed and pulled back. His body crashing into Darryās, before he could even begin to process what happened, Two-bit found his lips locked in with Darryās.
Without another moment of hesitance , Two-bit kissed back. This had to be the most unusual confession moment thing Two-bit had ever lived through. But what felt like years, Darry finally broke the kiss. Looking into Two-bitās eyes and smiling.
