“Then i’ll send them all the luck and positive vibes I can. I might even get some merch and show up at a game.” He chuckled softly. “Thank you. I guess I have more skills than I thought.”

“I think I’m ready. I have a lot of notes written up. It’s just preseason things that start to stress me out. I don’t really relax until the season starts. And I’m a massive perfectionist, which just adds everything to it.”

Furrowing her brows as he laughed, Vienna set some hair behind her ear. “Maybe, but definitely did not help my interview. I’m going to have to do a new one with someone else later. I don’t really think it was my humor, though. After going a few nights without sleep then trying to discuss a hit that they did during practice just wasn’t in my favor. Probably should have talked to one of the forwards, then I know I wouldn’t really have to worry about that.”
“Are you ready for that one, or do you feel like you need more time to get the interview ready? That actually explains it. Sorry to hear you didn’t get much sleep before that. I would’ve been so out of it.”

Roman looked at him dead in the eyes as he handed him the keys. “I don’t know what have you that idea,” he looked down at his scrubs. “Eighteen hour shifts will do that. Chicago ED’s keep you busy.”
“Hey, i’m a smart guy.” He pointed to his head, obviously not getting what the other was getting at. “Shifts that long should not be a thing, but I know you’re busy helping people, which is great.”

“On today’s episode of ‘What did Vienna Say” I accidentally said that one of the players pounded the other against the wall. And I didn’t realize it until the player laughed at me and asked if I should think that sentence over. My face turned red and I had to walk away so I can face palm myself,” she sighed as she shook her head. “Please tell me I’m not the only one that said something weird today.” @chicagcstart
He ended up busting out in a fit of laughs because that was just too funny to Scotty. “That was too good. Not weird at all. I think if anything they were amused by it.” He then shook his head. “You got some great humor there.”
Roman tucked the phone back in his pocket, picking up the keys that had fallen between himself and the other. “Excuse me, I’m sorry are these yours? I don’t think you’ll get very far without them.” The Italian hadn’t been in Chicago but 6 months only, still feeling fresh off the plain…although it could be exhaustion from work, still in his scrubs off an 18 hour shift. @chicagcstart
Feeling around for his keys, he felt like he must have dropped them somewhere. Whenever the other came up to him and told him about them, he sighed of relief and felt his heart stop pounding, “Man, you are a lifesaver. Thanks.” Reaching for the keys, the man then said, “You look tired. Are you a doctor or something?”

“And you’re being too kind. I was hoping you wouldn’t refuse. Gotta take care of my favorite mechanic and friend.” She smiled back at him, closing the door after he walked in. Kaia led the way and giggled at his question, shaking her head. “I’m good! Luckily for now, no car problems. I can’t thank you enough for saving me that one time. I don’t know what would have happened if you didn’t show up. I could have been kidnapped or something.” The brunette then pointed towards the table with all of the food and turned towards the male. “Ta-da!”
“Wait, wait, wait, your favorite? Are you seeing other mechanics besides me? I gotta say, i’m kinda hurt about that one, Kaia.” He shook his head as he let out a soft chuckle. As he followed her, he couldn’t help but take in the aroma of the food she had so specially prepared it seemed, and for him? He felt like the luckiest mechanic. “Don’t say that. I would have lead the search party. But i’m glad you’re safe.” He told her. “Oh, can I fix myself a plate? This all looks pretty dang good.”
Free days were all that Kaia enjoyed. She got to lounge around at her place and do whatever she pleased. The model had busy herself with making an abundant amount of brunch, varying from waffles, pancakes, and toast to eggs, bacon, ham, and sausages. She invited the first person on her phone and set the table up. Kaia prepared the mimosas and coffee so that the other person had options. She then heard the doorbell ring and ran to the door. “Right on time! I’ve got quite the spread set up. Glad you made it,” she gleamed with a smile while standing aside to let her guest in.

“You know you make the best food ever? As soon as you invited me over I was not going to refuse.” Scotty smiled softly, walking in as she stepped aside for him to walk in. “So how are you? No car troubles, right?” The man ended up chuckling, just amusing himself really.

Kat laughed, shaking her head. “You’re good.” she smiled, leaning over to kiss his cheek. “I am more than ready for dessert.” she said. “There probably is amazing things here.”
At the kiss to his cheek, heat went rising inside of him and suddenly, he felt those powers working over him. “So amazing. They got cannolis, ice cream, gelato...”

Kat blushed and smiled. “I’m so glad.” she said, looking at him and scanning his beautiful blue eyes. “Well, you’re already making me feel like a princess, so I don’t doubt it.”
“Whew, that means i’m doing my job then.” He playfully wiped his forehead, as if sweat had formed there, but it didn’t. “Is my Kat ready for dessert? I bet they have some great things here.”

“I mean, I don’t think people who have a milk allergy would really like ice cream. One of the nurses I work with doesn’t like ice cream because of the texture. I love the texture of ice cream, but I guess everyone is different in that sense,” she shrugged. It wasn’t something she really understood. “I hope it is. Unless you think it’s a negative thing.”
“How could anyone not like ice cream? That would take me a minute to get my head around. Yeah, you make a good point. I like the different flavors.” He shrugged, too. “Not a negative thing.”
“Hey! How are you?!” Kiara asked as she took a sip from her drink, greeting the familiar face. “Come and have a drink with me! And dance!!”

Looking over at the other who asked him a question, he grinned and said, “I’m doing great. Ah, dance? I don’t know about, but i’ll drink.”

“The. Cutest! Here. Look at this face!” Kit never missed the opportunity to show off Mr. Darcy. She had only had the Golden Retriever pup for a month now but it felt like a lifetime. Turning her phone towards the other, the puppy took over the display with a nice little bowtie around his neck. She was, in fact, very much looking forward to getting home and just cuddling the little fur ball after the mess of a day. “Oof, good luck to you, then! Hopefully your shift goes by fast! In this weather, it’s impossible to concentrate!”
As the other turned her phone to him to take a look at her dog, he just made the most happy face. Glancing at the woman, he nodded his head and said, “You did not lie. That is the cutest dog I have seen.” He tried not to get too excited, but this dog was so adorable. “Thanks so much and I hope you have a great warm day.” He then noticed the ride stop and he was at his work now. “I’ll see you later. Also how much is your ride? I can pay I don’t mind.” He shrugged.

“Is that your subtle way of asking me to be your girlfriend?” she asked, raising an eyebrow, pulling away a little bit. Mostly because she didn’t want to get too passionate in the middle of the restaurant.
“Do you want me to get on my knees and beg? I will if I have to.” He winked before chewing his bottom lip. The feelings he felt for Kat were far too strong and he liked it.

“Your queen, hm?” Kat asked, raising an eyebrow as he leaned in. She gently pressed her lips to his, patting his cheek with her hand.
“Yeah. Do you wanna be?” He asked, soon attempting to caress her cheek as their shared kiss grew passionate in Scotty’s eyes.

“Nope.” Kat smiled innocently. “The perfect man.” she smiled, finishing up the wine that was in her glass, her cheeks rosy.
“You’re making me weak with your powers.” His blue orbs lit up whenever he looked at her. “No way, i’m just trying to take care of my queen, here.” He winked before trying to lean in closer to kiss her.
